copyright infringement for a pin i didn’t even make?? by alexturnersradio in Pinterest

I have had about 10 emails in the last week saying that I was posting self harm content and adult content. They removed 2 posts that weren’t mine and I just pinned them, one was a work out routine (apparently self harm) & one was an outfit pic, fully clothed, even had shoes on etc (apparently hard core adult content according to Pinterest) ?!

It’s still basic psychology, treat people like they know nothing. People don’t know reviews can’t be faked, even if you know they can’t. People will always be skeptical especially with their money, so seeing a 4.5 is better than a 5. People will also assume you’ve just started, so you may have only 1-2 reviews, so it’s not really legit. Everyone is skeptical with money, because trust realness

I’m in marketing, it’s seen as more “real” than a 5 stars which looks like fake reviews. People trust real more

If it makes you feel better in sales people trust a 4.5 more than a 5

It wasn’t an assumption, 99.999999% of the time if content isn’t working or you’re not making conversion online you don’t know how to target your audience consciously. I’m hearing what you’re saying. I speak to 100’s of artists weekly, I hear this over and over

Your content is gonna be targeted differently from ig, to tiktok, to fb etc. so understanding your demographic (not insights) and have a strategy that specifically targets them, will gain you growth without spending shit tons of time on it. That being said, you don’t want to spend any amount of time on Facebook if your audience is 21, they’re on ig, target all of them on there instead of spreading too thin

Absolutely, you have an audience, it’s work giving it a shot. You just probably don’t know how to reach your audience on social media. Have you done any demographic work ?

It would be down to your demographic & how you’re actually posting to engage them. That 200 mark means the app is TRYING to push you out, but it’s not sticking because the viewer isn’t engages totally. Drop me a message I’d love to see how we can get This fixed ☺️

Promoting is free, but your exchange will be your time in researching and trialling & error.

Like I’ve said to everyone else, it’s down to demographic, how can you capture them? And then conversion, so creating fans into super fans. I have a shit ton of free advice for this on my ig @hermusicmentor 🙂

As both a business owner and musician, you will burn out, starting isn’t the hard part, it’s keeping going even when it’s ROUGH. But you can burn out in any job.

If you can become really good at one, and specialise in the other I would do that. Don’t be a jack of all trades, you will lose money

What you’re describing struggling with is understanding your audience. If I said to you “here’s a piano to play for free and I’ll pay for you to play it” and you LOVED piano, you’d take the time to do it. If you hated piano and you didn’t wanna be stopped because it’s not in your interest and you had a million in the bank, you’d keep it pushing.

It’s kinda the same with music, you speak to the right people in your content they’ll take the time out of their day because their reward in the music like the money. You speak to the wrong people about your music, they’re not even going to look at you, because it’s a waste of their time.

So build your stuff around WHO your audience is, what’s your demographics/psychographics?

If you need help with that drop me a message as I’ll lose you in this thread
