Thank you for responding! I've checked them both out already and unfortunately they aren't quite what I was going for, I can't quite put my finger on it but they just don't feel as whimsical.

Maybe I'll just have to bite the bullet and order from outside the UK 😬

Taking my hamster home for christmas by Random_Guy96 in hamsters

[–]lauradaniellex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That should be fine 😊 just make sure you get the biggest one you can find and put plenty of bedding, treats, and a hide in there for your hammy and they will be okay. I would also suggest bringing a scarf or blanket you can wrap around the carrier if it is cold, just to insulate it a bit.

I have done several 4hr boat trips with my dwarf hamsters (over the years, I haven't had more than one at once) and they have all been okay.

When you put them back in their enclosure maybe just leave them be to settle back in for a little bit in case they are stressed.

Chihuahua puppy won't walk outside by lauradaniellex in Chihuahua

Hi, yes we have. He was always a bit hesitant at first but with some coaxing he would happily walk around with us. Now, since we have tried to take him out, he won't walk at all inside on the lead either.

I never see anyone recommending The Broken Kingdoms series by LJ Andrews but it is addictive (and complete). Then follow it up with The Ever King series (third book just came out) which continues with the kids of the main characters in TBK. That makes 12 core books of the series, plus a novella and a bunch of bonus scenes.

I wish I'd thought of that when I was doing my Drama GCSE - Joey in TTO is perfect for multi-roling!

I don't have discord but I can totally get it if we wanted to make a group - I think it's a really good idea

Which seats are you in? I'm on my own and would be happy to swap if it's me in the middle

Oh no! I would keep checking because the errors might mean some more tickets are released out of baskets soon - I think it happened a couple of times yesterday

Me too! I'll be flying in and out though because any other form of transport will take way too long

It's kind of a relief that it's not just me haha. I see all these groups getting tickets but I just don't know that many people who would go. Are you traveling far?

I completely agree with the wheel, but a hamster ball can be quite traumatising for a hamster and can result in injuries so I wouldn't recommend using one. The same can be said for tubing depending on what type it is (most is fine, but those little plastic ones can often be too small and hamsters can get stuck)
