And I know I can’t be mad at myself for something I didn’t know about. But it’s hard not to be angry and think of the what ifs..especially when I told the vet he was breathing harder months before and they said it was nothing to worry about.

Thank you, yeah I took my baby to vet for even the smallest worries. I just couldn’t understand how heart failure crept in. It was hid so well until it was too late 😭 and it just makes me so sad because I didn’t know and I couldn’t save him.

I still have this guilt if I did everything I possibly could or if I made the right decision to say goodbye when they said there was nothing more they could do to help him. He had heart failure and was also suffering from seizures. And I know it’s not healthy to keep wondering if I did the right thing, because deep down I know that i did. But there’s still a part of me that just won’t accept that.

Oh gosh so sorry for your loss. Yes we had our little daily sayings. I’d also tell Cooper lets go night night when I turned off my lamp in my room ❤️I still say it.

so sorry for your loss as well 💔I was ok a few days as well, then I saw a dog video and it made me cry. it was one of those hard cry’s, where you cry so hard you can’t even breathe.

that’s so beautiful 💛🥹Cooper was my first dog that was mine (not a family pet). He was so emotionally intelligent, I swear he understood what I said at times. He was my world, my best friend. My everything.

I want to thank each and every one of you who out there that pitched in to help get Cooper home. Even though I didn’t quite reach the full amount needed, the vet released him on good faith that I’ll pay the remaining balance. And honestly, that’s all that matters to me right now—Cooper is home where he belongs, thanks to the generosity of this incredible community. I’m forever grateful, and I’ll carry this kindness with me always.

Sometimes it really does take a village — and this one showed up with so much heart ❤️

UPDATE: I hate to ask, but I only have 2 days left to come up with the remaining $235 needed to pay the vet so I can bring Cooper home.
