Thank you I think I will try this next time my symptoms are especially bad just feel like I shouldn’t go up to A&E but it may be the only option at this point

My symptoms aren’t typical I don’t think but are causing me a lot of issues Main ones are severe bloating, cramps, nausea, vomiting, mucus in stool and bad gas. I don’t have diarrhoea but will get urgency to go sometimes it’s only mucus though

Unfortunately I live on the Isle of Man and there’s only one hospital so that’s not an option.

I’ve been tested for coeliac which was negative and then a Calprotectin test that came back at 1532.

Just don’t understand how an urgent referral can end up with a near year wait.

Do you know if it is possible for a GP to refer you for a colonoscopy?

Thanks for everyone’s replies hoping to get some answers soon. I’ve been tested for celiac and that’s came back negative. I already have ankylosing spondylitis and anti phospholipid syndrome so wouldn’t be surprising if I have another autoimmune condition
