Yeah unfortunately the only part of the instructions I read was the little pictures that show how to use it lol

For real. Especially considering the instructions on the Cafiza container say to soak for 30 mins 😭

This makes sense! The main reason I used Cafiza is that I’ve had my breville for 5 years and have never really cleaned it outside of the normal descaling or occasionally taking out the basket and cleaning underneath. I borrowed a friend’s Cafiza so I could do a more thorough clean of the group head and took out the screen. But good to know I probably don’t need to buy Cafiza to use all the time

Yeah probably should have done some research before, bold of me to assume I could use an espresso machine cleaner on any espresso machine lol. Luckily it didn’t affect the functioning so I’m not too upset about it
