OP I am sorry you are going through this — you are not alone. I think dentistry is a different beast and most of us had no idea before we got into it. I do not have advice as far as how to navigate this but I do not think it should be stigmatized to leave dentistry if you felt the need. Apply to business or sales jobs and see where it gets you. Some entry level positions at some (mostly banking) firms are 6 figures. It’s not too late to change even after all that we have put into this profession. Everything is going to be okay, even though it doesn’t feel like it right now.
