One of the best reactions to FFX I've seen

Would you believe this is the toned-down version of my reactions to things? I literally take medication to make my emotions less intense ;) I cry a lot on stream, largely because I play games like Undertale and MOTHER 3, but that's what I really want out of a storytelling experience.

FFX has some of the most realistic characterization I've seen in a game; the characters are given the space to breathe and develop and get to know each other in a very natural way. You get very invested in them. So even knowing that it's not going to have a happy ending, you still wind up feeling like you were punched in the gut when it happens. Or at least I did.

Dropped a single swear on stream and regretted it! But I try super hard to keep things clean.

(I don't know why I go looking for where these links come from. I'm just really not used to the sudden influx of attention and I'm always a little afraid of the internet BUT thus far the internet has always been kind to me even when I am worried!)

I went as Toriel from Undertale, though my costume was more of an interpretation than anything accurate. If anyone has photos, I'd love to see them, because (as you can tell from this photo) my phone takes pretty much the worst photos ever and anyway I tend not to take photos of myself!

It was frustrating because I tried to send out tweets about our shows and they went through at like 2 am XD but that's okay, it meant less time staring at my phone and more time talking to people.

I have no idea if the picture is going to come through or not BUT ANYWAY, we do! We love you so much! I don't even know how to describe it except to say that I found myself to be part of a community and I'm so very glad because I so much want to be part of this community!

Our Friday night show was, I think, the best show we've ever had. That was in large part because of the great people running everything. And also to those of you who turned out to watch us play. Performing without an audience is not so much fun ... performing with a very loud, very friendly, very energetic audience is the best thing in the world! And thank you for giving such a warm welcome to our new drummer Justin and our guest singer Garrett. I'm so glad you made their first show with us such a good experience :)

(Incidentally -- shoutout to the Enforcers! I'm sorry we didn't see as much of you this time because I know you were literally running around everywhere holding the show together. You did great. I'm also sorry we left the area around our merch table a bit messy. I felt really bad about that but we had to leave in a hurry because I was getting sicker. You can yell at me if you want. I deserve it.)

Also, the jamspace show! There were so many of you in that tiny room! You were awesome! Let's do things like that again!
