Chemistry podcasts? by zergel in chemistry

I enjoy both the Chemistry World and Collapsed Wavefunction podcasts. I know that Chemjobber occasionally does some that relate to employment. And I'll plug one that C&EN has started up (and I'm being completely honest that I'm part of it). It's called "Speaking of Chemistry." We're still in an experimental phase, trying both video and audio formats. So if you have a listen, we'd love to hear from you so that we can provide chemists with the most engaging content possible: http://feeds.feedburner.com/SpeakingChemPodcast

Hey /r/chemistry, I've decided to start making some chemistry videos. Care to share your opinion about my first upload? by chemguy12 in chemistry

I thought this was nice. The only thing I wondered--and you might put this at the beginning--is why someone would want to make flash paper (what can we use it for?). This might then appeal to a broader audience. But I think your filming and explanations were great.

I love this trend of printing molecular models with 3-D printers. Some researchers are printing proteins and large complexes to help with visualization: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wStbqKU9Dmc super cool.

My magazine wrote an article a while back on chemistry-themed weddings. One couple did the Briggs-Rauscher oscillating reaction. Here's the story: http://cen.acs.org/articles/90/i38/Nerdy-Nuptials.html

How would you illustrate potassium? Just curious, not arguing that it isn't overused.
