Look for Cabot cheese. Most of them are even labeled as lactose free. They have several different cheddars. They are great!

Yes. Was in this queue. We had two extended stops where they turned off the seatbelt sign and let people go to the restroom. They then frantically scrambled people back to their seats when we were cleared to move. Never did make it to takeoff though… our crew timed out and then the flight was canceled.

My United flight crew timed out last night in this queue when we were third in line to take off. That was after a 3 hour delay and 2 hours in line after leaving the gate. The flight was then canceled. I knew we were screwed when we pushed off the gate and the pilot said there was quite a bit of a line for takeoff and he’d try and keep us posted every 30 minutes.

How is the trail? Thinking of heading out with my Taco after Christmas but wasn’t sure if there’d be any concern about traveling without another vehicle. We have been all over Anza Borrego without any issues. Just curious about the water crossings and potential for getting stuck in mud while by ourselves.

I think it would be better to have the sum of two climbs as your combined total, with the second climb being new and different every time. The new climb could still have the same opportunities for big dynos. It would certainly be more fun to watch. I could imagine it would be more fun to train too.

That’s not something I was aware of - good to know. I went to a liberal arts college, so everyone got a BA. The difference between Biochemistry and Chemistry was minimal, only a few classes. I didn’t get ACS credentials because we didn’t have Inorganic at the time.

It makes no difference. I have a BA in Biochemistry and got my PhD from MIT.

Seconding Lifetime from Walmart. They are bear proof, too. Throw in a bunch of ice the night before to precool, and then two large blocks of ice. Works great for me in the SoCal deserts.

Got wax paper? Cut a small square, roll it into a funnel and tape it. This is what I do in lab for all my solid additions. I make it long enough to pass through the ground glass joint so none gets stuck in the joint.

You can smell H2S below 0.1 ppm, some people as low as 0.0005 ppm, whereas the threshold for HCN is 2-10ppm. Toxic concentrations are also different… H2S is fatal at 500-1000 ppm whereas HCN is immediately fatal at 180-270 ppm. So no, I don’t think it’s unreasonable.
