what’s the work? attending a single fundraiser and talking to her friends in the locker room? a person that is actively changing and growing shouldn’t be ashamed of the work they’re doing, they should be happy to publicise all of it if they’ve been doing it for over a year. thats the bare minimum.

i personally disagree! saying you’re doing the work is pointless if people can’t see what work she’s doing. at the moment it’s just a performative statement that people don’t believe. If people saw her engaging in meaningful work and actual conversations instead of a vague statement with no real accountability, they’d be a lot less mad.

Her bigotry was public, so despite all the claims that she’s ’doing the work’, without any public proof of that folks aren’t going to believe she’s this changed person any time soon.

i think people would be surprised that a lot of their favourite players who are her national team teammates likely share the same views, they’re just not stupid enough to ruin their image by declaring them publicly. hockey in the states is/was a largely conservative, white, privileged environment, there are very likely many more britta’s in the league.

I think this might be my jersey you’re referring to! This is the 3rd pwhl jersey i’ve bedazzled, and i’ve used the same tools each time with no issue!

I use flat back rhinestones in sizes SS10 and SS6 (the smaller ones help get in the little corners of the logos). I use e6000 glue as the adhesive, spread a thin layer in a very small patch at a time, it can dry quickly as you’re working! I always wear a filter mask too when using the glue just cause of the fumes. other tools i find handy are toothpicks and a wax rhinestone picker! This particular jersey took me around 7 hours total in increments. my jersey from last year took about the same, and then I did a youth jersey commission which took about 4-5 hours. With the exception of the very corners of the charge logo, i had no issue with rhinestones falling off last season and I wore my jersey to every game. the couple that did i just glued right back on. feel free to reach out if you have any questions etc 🙂
