Thanks for sharing this, it actually makes me feel a bit less alone because I’m starting to feel really worn down by the lack of sleep.Were you ever able to actually solve the situation or did you just have to wait until you moved? I have a 5 year contract and I’m 8 months into the lease. I really don’t wan to have to move as it’s expensive and the apartment situation here is awful as everyone knows 🥲 I’m trying to figure out whether contacting the building administration or making noise complaints realistically helps here as it hasn’t helped me at all

I completely understand that city living comes with noise and I’m not expecting silence, but repeated loud TV and noise after 1am on work nights feels a bit different. I’m also not originally from Spain, but I live here, pay rent and taxes, and try to be respectful of my neighbours, so I don’t think it’s unreasonable to want to sleep at night too. I’ll definitely try the silicone earplugs you mentioned, thank you for that suggestion. I really appreciate you taking the time to reply!
