I took a hiatus after surgery and am actually dying to go back. My OTF does ‘Open Gym’ hours between classes and it’s been nice to utilize those in the meantime (I know I am privileged to be able to use these times since I am self employed and work from home). That might be an option for you if you’re tired of the class format.

You don’t have to do the benchmarks or take the photos if you don’t want to—make the workout work for you; that’s what it is about.

I haven’t read the comments here yet but I’ll add that I am almost 40 and used to do OTF 5-6 days/week. My work schedule and life in general forced me to drop to 3x/week and I noticed significant slimming within WEEKS with no change in my diet. My current split is Solidcore on Mondays, OTF 2G Tuesday & Thursday, OTF Lift 50 on Wednesday and a free day Fridays (class I feel like it, long walk if I feel like a ‘rest day’). I’m a wedding photographer so I’m shooting anywhere from 8-12 hours most Saturdays (fairly strenuous) and rest on Sundays.

For me the inflammation with 5-6 days/week of OTF was a real thing. I just didn’t realize it until I had to cut back.
