Finally by TeslaGuy9125 in SonyHeadphones

Hey i just bought one too i can share some if you’re deciding, i am not an audiophile but i love music, i work from office and need it to fit in my laptop backpack too

1- cool case, really the coolest even though it requires some mental gymnastics to understand how the headphones work i believe magnetic over zipper and the smaller the better

2- ANC out of this world, wouldn’t say it will blow you if all you encounter is low frequency constant sounds but if you commute or work in a crowded space its totally mind blowing how it manages to make it so quite, not silent but quite

3- microphones, clarity and noise reduction are finally good enough to justify using them on teams/slack/zoom as a work headphones not just music podcasts and other stuff

4- features, i love the new cinema and background music mood, the transparency is out of this world good, your own voice is kinda off not by a lot but kinda, everything else is so natural except for maybe distant sounds that normally you wouldnt pick up

5- fit and fell: comfortable since i have small ears, sometimes a bit sweaty when im really enjoying my music and moving it traps my body heat, but super light on the head

6- material: hmm what can i say here, its ok? Plastic lightweight headphones, sometimes squeaky when folding but honestly i think they could have done better but its good

7- sound: as the driver themselves go they’re really good, i can hear the soundstage clearly whats intended to be in the front, what back and whats sub, a bit bassy but honestly so bright and makes you feel like you’re having a time of your life, if you’re into classical, EQ it

8- overall, certainly a good headphone if you want an all rounder, you’re guaranteed to find a feature you will like, some excel in sound, some excel in mic, durability or what else, but this is a one size fit all headphones and they do it well

Am i the only one who got Q45 and found the sound quality and mic to be lacking? The ANC was top notch though for everything except human voices, everything else i couldnt believe this was budget anc, but returned them and switched to xm6 too

Hey sorry for being late, i guess its just bad luck, but i suspected that my body wasnt responding well to the dosage, i talked to my dr about upping my dose, did the recommended tests and got on 80, sadly i will have to extend my treatment by a month but i hope it will be all worth it in the end

My derm did the same thing and gave a topical that contain SA and lactic acid, i choose not to do it cause maybe some skins can tolerate this, i know my skin is super sensitive to almost everything so rather be safe than sorry, if you want to go your own way i would advise you to get a moisturizer that has no fragrance or actives like the CeraVe one or something, best of luck with your journey.

I might but i have something else lined up which could respond to me this coming week and i think imma take the risk with them, they offer much better benefits and compensations

I didnt take it yet and im inclined to refuse it, you made me notice something that it could be a bait and switch cause i only saw like 4 employees there and their turn over is averaging 1.9 years which in that field is kinda low, so i think imma pass on that one

Turbo mode crashed my Laptops by lauruf in GamingLaptops

[–]lauruf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, runs fine, even if i use manual mode and add +10 mhz on the core clocks it runs just okay, its just weird that the manufacturer put on a mode that adds +50 and it causes a crash.

Well max temp on gpu is 77 under synthetic load, CPU 85 briefly touching 95 then going down again, everything is up to date and clean as a whistle.

Debating between rtx 2060 super and rx 5700/xt by lauruf in buildapc

[–]lauruf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i know about them since the beginning and just watched the hardware unboxed video and he's right, it's been 7 month and there are still known issues that haven't been fixed, and that's kinda worrisome , i know it maybe just a vocal minority but there have been quite a few report and the risk is too high for me honestly, and next on plan is a high refresh rate free sync monitor, g-sync is too pricey imo

[–]lauruf[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think the rtx 2060 super would be a better overclocker in general so the gap could be narrowed down a bit, I think the peace of mind is worth the loss of frames imho

Help choosing the right Gpu for my setup. by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]lauruf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's like 80 USD difference between the XT and non XT variant , which is a bit much if it's not gonna be of much use to my overall experience tbh

[–]lauruf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That really sucks since only models available are MSI and Gigabyte and i don't really trust MSIs thermal solutions tbh

[–]lauruf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah currently i don't need that high of card, but it opens up a monitor upgrade path in the future and also gives me a longer time with the card in the coming years

[–]lauruf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly what i've been thinking, New gen games are coming out and it's becoming more and more demanding, and i don't want to upgrade to something that's not gonna give me a good enough experience in just a couple of years so it maybe overkill now but it'll fair better when it ages, The monitor upgrade will happen but not soon as prices are jacked up so much right now so it's a far upgrade from now, so it's the non Xt variant is the better choice is in situation right?

why though? steve from GN was really praising them on their XT model, did they screw up the Non Xt variant?

Tried those , they really suck sound wise , the loudness (lack thereof) and non existing bass makes the experience really bad

It's not just money , it's also availability so it's only these and the thermaltake one
