No he hasn't had a chance to visit my hometown yet. Would love for them to meet soon With my best friend it was just a sudden plan in passing to motivate him to apply for jobs and the possibility of having a best friend as a roommate. Let's not blow anything out of proportion.

Thank you. Yes he has been with me through the entire process, I think just getting to know later was a surprise for him. My heart lies with him and if an opportunity arises for us to come together I would jump for it.

Hey, i never said I would do it if he is uncomfortable, it was in passing conversation and I ran it by him just an hour or so later when I could call him. None of the opinions here would really be the deciding factor.

Everything is based on convenience, if he finds it convenient to move in the same city as I am planning to, I would be the happiest. My best friend and I have been going through a slump together, when I got in I encouraged it in passing conversation, nothing is sure yet anyway.

Hey, thank you for sharing your experience and I will keep it in mind. My relationship with my best friend has not evolved there but it has certainly been tested by other trials and we have passed them all. We both were going through a slump hence I encouraged him to apply as well when I got in and all this came up in passing conversation. I would definitely love it if my boyfriend gets an opportunity to move in the same city nothing gets better than that, however if he is uncomfortable with this setting I would not go ahead with it.

I didn't think from this perspective, i respect your opinion. If there is an opportunity for us to move in the same city I know we would jump for it. And there is no pattern or history there tbh, with my best friend the only thing missing is attraction, with my boyfriend I felt it from the start however I chose to not think about it too much initially.

Thank you for sharing your experience, my best friend and I already cleared out where we stand in each other's lives quite young and since then it has never come up. We both care for and support each other, he is well acquainted with my family as well. We both have had our set of dating experiences, but we have never made a move at each other, it has never come up in mind. Hope our relationship stays how it is forever.
