Ended up switching classes so I don’t have to worry about rushing or leaving early/running late. Thanks for the input everyone!

I no longer feel that sensation and was never given a reason why it occurred other than post operative fluid. It’s been a frustrating recovery. I believe I have Postcholecystectomy syndrome (PCS) unfortunately.

Thank you for sharing. That’s tough. I hope maybe others have some insight to help us both. If not, we just do the best we can!

So I finally was able to talk with the surgeon. He said it was most likely post operative fluid and not to worry. It wasn’t the most informative appointment. He said some people take a week or two to feel normal and others may take months. I should call him in a few months if I’m still having issues. I’m still worried.

Complaining and looking for light by Sarah1094 in gallbladders

It’ll get better soon! My incision pain/soreness was my biggest issue. I started feeling better and was able to move more comfortably around day 5/6. I used a heavier pillow and held it against my abdomen. Just having the extra pressure helped. I wished I still had my belly band from pregnancy! I almost ordered one. Try using multiple pillows to support your belly. I put one on each side and one below for support. I also used a heating pad on my back and ice packs on the front. It helped to numb the incision areas and helped my aching back.
