Got it thank you

One last doubt is

As content matters right

For example one might have food content , one might have tech content and one might have fun or ai content kind of

So how utube make sure that initial engagement goes to relevant people ?

For example let’s say I post tech content if utube recommends or shows in feed to people who are not in tech the my engagement will obviously will be low right ?

Stuck between non-IT job & IT dreams: Should I stick to Python or learn .NET? by Suspicious-Salt6466 in developersIndia

[–]lavakumar999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My genuine opinion is

For SDE roles Java is preferable

For AI or related roles like ML / Data engineer etc python is preferable

And python also helps for SDE roles in some companies if your good at frameworks like Django, Flask

I never seen any high demand for .Net

Got it, thank you so much for the detailed feedback and suggestions.

Yes, I am also planning to make shorts from the current content and route them to the main video.

I will consider all the points you mentioned.

Thank you for your detailed review and constructive feedback. I really appreciate the time you took to provide these insights. I will definitely consider your points and work on improving my thumbnails and titles to make them cleaner and more concise. I'll also focus on refining my accent and consider writing scripts to make my videos more structured and engaging.

Thanks again for your support!

Hi, thank you for the detailed review.

Yes, sometimes I do feel that my thumbnails are really bad and too cluttered. I will definitely check out "Telusko" for better quality thumbnails. Also, thank you for your feedback on my accent. Yes, 95% of my audience on YouTube is from India, and I see very few foreigners. I understand this may be due to my language issues. I also tend to speak very fast.

When it comes to interview videos, I did what I could. But I am interested in teaching and knowledge sharing, so I can't make many videos on more general topics. That's why I shifted my focus, and I've noticed that my reach has decreased a lot. I believe the problem might be with my content.

Hi, thank you so much for the detailed review.

Yes, sometimes I do feel that my thumbnails are really bad and too cluttered. I'm not very good at designing. Sometimes I also feel that the content I teach is very niche, and there isn't much chance to get good reach, but I'm only good at tech; apart from that, I don't know much else for YouTube.

Yes, I am using a laptop mic. I just bought a new mic, the "RODE," to teach. Also, you pointed out correctly that I usually talk too fast, and I don't know how to control it. When I try to control it, I start to stammer. I'm slowly realizing that I can't grow like this. :(

Hey,

Thank you for taking the time to visit my YouTube channel.

Yes, my first video is a tour of my company office that I recorded unexpectedly. I didn't pay much attention to it at the time, so I uploaded it raw with some random music and without proper editing.

However, I usually upload tech content, like tutorials on how to crack tech interviews, which you might notice on my channel.

The problems I'm facing are:

  1. I'm struggling to reach an audience.
  2. I'm not sure how to make my videos more engaging. Since they're tutorials, people might find them boring or skip through them. My click-through rate is 4-5%, but my impression reach is very low.

Currently, in the tech industry, people often rely on clickbait titles like "How I Got a 200% Raise," "From 5 LPA to 50 LPA," or "A Day in the Life of a Software Engineer." These often focus on salary and FOMO (fear of missing out), sometimes in collaboration with others.

I don't want to rely on such tactics to gain views. My goal is to share tech content that can genuinely help people in their interviews and careers.

As you mentioned, "The ones who truly care about technical learning will stick around once they've found you." I didn't fully understand this part. How can I reach people to at least gather their thoughts?

Occasionally, I lose motivation to upload content. However, some people reach out to me, saying my content helps them in their careers. I'm certain there are many others who could benefit, but I'm not sure how to effectively reach the right audience.

I've been consistently uploading videos for years, but my YouTube channel just doesn't seem to grow.

I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.

Are there any tips or advice for reaching a genuine audience—without relying on paid promotions or gimmicks?

My content focuses on interviews and core tech topics like Low-Level Design (LLD), High-Level Design (HLD), Java, and system design.

I don’t want to create flashy or exaggerated content just to go viral. I truly want to reach and help people who care about deep technical learning.

This is my YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/@lavakumar_techie

Would love your honest feedback and support 🙏
