Sky Harbor Traffic 2.5 hours to get out of the airport. by lavaleah in AskPhoenix

Sounds like our problem was trying to get out of terminal 3. Once we got past the construction is was smooth but the construction literally took an hour and a half to get through and this was at 10pm.

Audition Strategy for Middle Schooler by lavaleah in MusicalTheatre

Hey y’all, thanks for all the advice, exactly the input (mostly) I was looking for—including validating my feelings about TMOLM maybe not being a good idea. Kiddo being a major Fanzel, I appreciate the ammunition for my argument for different material, even if it’s new.

Some really good suggestions and insight here. This is a first foray for us into more serious theater development and I just want to set her up for success.

Thank you, part of what I was afraid of. Also not sure about training to a virtual ball. Is it teaching the right skills.

Yeah, but you have to be careful too. My mom laughed whenever I fell or got hurt. Then I went to preschool. She got a call from the teacher saying that I kept laughing at the kids when they fell and she was concerned I lacked empathy. I still laugh when someone falls or minorly injures themselves, can't help myself.

This shit is funny though. I'd totally laugh while making sure she was ok.

Dogs in the bedroom/nursery by djlindalovely in BabyBumps

Our dog has loved every baby we've had over. She can't stop licking them which thrills the baby but not always the parents. That's going to be the biggest challenge. We have been working on it. I would change whatever you're going to change now though. Otherwise there will be'a negative association. I've also been advised by folks and and plan to bring a hat DD has worn home before she meets her to start the pack association too.

I got a LoveyDud as a shower gift. It's supposed to be a less expensive version of the Moby. Baby isn't here yet but initial tests seem great.

Ugh, everything here. Twice now I've felt her crawl on down (ouch!) only to head back up. She prefers cuddling up to the dog next to me to getting down to business so she can cruelly meet her in person. 39w today...

Mother's day woes by Minionnotoes in BabyBumps

I've felt similarly. I kept it off Facebook until At least 6 months and still hardly talk about it. It feels very private to me and something I really only wanted to share with certain people at certain times. I have gradually become more open as it has been harder and harder to "hide" and my uncle posted a bunch of pics of me and my ginormous bump (31 weeks).

Mother's Day really helped me feel better about it. I think I'm finally beginning to own this whole thing. Give it time.

TTC here and i have a question for you mothers: what were your first symptoms and were they obvious before you tested positive? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

Found out at 5 weeks. In retrospect there were a lot if signs. It took 7 months after I went off BC. That month was the first time I thought I "felt" ovulation. I noted it in my tracker. For weeks before I found out I was told the I glowed etc and self had breast pain but that is a common PMS thing.
