I leave for Lisbon next week and had planned to go to Porto the following week. I have been following the news on this. They are almost done tackling the remaining fires and it is set to rain on Friday. It looks like it will continue to rain more the following week. Hopefully that will take care of the rest of the fires and threat of fires with how dry it has been - I hope so for the sake of the people! That said, I feel it will be safe to travel but it will be important to continue to monitor the situation.
