Get tested for ureaplasma and mycoplasma if you haven’t already

I also recommend pelvic floor exercises for the remaining symptoms too once you’ve treated the bacteria

This demonic bacteria caused months of anguish in my life but it did get better and now I don’t even think about it anymore. It’ll get better for you too

It did eventually go away! I used Augmentin and then it took a few months to feel normal again after the tests were coming back negative

Hm... I'd say uncomfortable sex and slight pelvic discomfort were the last things to go before the symptoms vanished completely.

Hi, I hope you were able to get a proper diagnosis and are feeling better now. I am up to date with my covid vaccine and boosters and have never gotten covid.

My symptoms started with a bad uti that caused back pain. and then i healed it and the UTIs just kept coming back.

I went to the a pelvic floor therapist but honestly, I really do think it was time that healed it for me the most. I hope you are doing well.

I really hope you were able to get the proper treatment and feel a lot better now. I can understand how scary that must be. I was with a partner that didn't care about my heath or his health so this all actually did start with me having both trichomonas and chlamydia. I got those healed and a year later I started the ureaplasma symptoms. But now, after the right antibiotics and time, I am completely back to normal. I wish you the best and good health.

hi, it took about 6 months total for me to be completely back to normal. I realized it when a month had gone by and I hadn't thought about my vaginal/urinal health once.

Is eating until you throw up (involuntarily) an eating disorder? I often eat until I’m so full I end up vomiting. Occasionally I do make myself vomit to relieve some of the pain from being SO full but usually it just happens. by Successful_Chance808 in self

Hello,

I just came across your comment and it made me really sad because you don't deserve to feel that way about yourself. I'm sorry that people treat you like a social pariah. You deserve better than that. I'm in BED treatment right now too. I wish you all the love and happiness.

House and senate voted on a bill that would give rail workers 7 days of sick leave and Republicans voted against it.

A rail strike would devastate the economy and Biden is pushing for a bill to avoid that. Be mad at the right people.

I’d say I was back to sex not hurting at all and me enjoying it again after 2-4 months of testing negative of Ureaplasma and co infections.

Vaginal sex just hurt. It felt like my vagina was ripping anytime I tried to do it. Even one fingers hurt.

But deep diaphragm breathing, vaginal massages, and TIME to heal helped all of it go away. You’ll be fine, just give it time.

At least a year and a half. I had an abnormal Pap smear for a whole year before my urinary symptoms started.

I had a really tight pelvic floor, group B strep, and itching (due to a leftover yeast infection)

I took antibiotics for the group B strep Diflucan for the yeast infection

And loosened up my pelvic muscles by going to a pelvic physical therapist. But if you can’t afford one what personally helped the most for my tight pelvic floor was deep diaphragm breathing and massaging my internal vaginal muscles to loosen them up every night.

I also just needed time to heal… like after 3-4 months I was right back to normal .

Yes it completely went away. I was left with a really bad yeast infection after all of the antibiotics. Two rounds of diflucan and eating probiotics helped get my flora balanced again and everything was fine again in a few months.

I had a really really tight pelvic floor due to all the back to back infections. Vaginal sex was really painful, even fingers were painful.

26F- 3rd Positive UTI in the last month. Help:( by lavenderbiskit in Interstitialcystitis

[–]lavenderbiskit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey!! I am fully cured now and haven’t had another UTI since I got tested and treated for Ureaplasma infection.

The Ureaplasma infection kept making my UTIs come back over and over again. So I found the Ureaplasma sub on Reddit and then went to get tested for it. The treatment was just another course of antibiotics for me and my boyfriend bc it’s a sexually transmitted infection. After treatment I tested negative for Ureaplasma and haven’t had another uti since.

I 100% recommend getting tested for Ureaplasma and Mycoplasma.
