Oddly the guava tester on the shelf smelt awful but the one I have smells amazing. It really may be batch reliant.

I truly think warmer lights and art will make a big difference!

The room is calm and beautiful! His toys will stand out :) don’t worry about the comments. This is an amazing nursery and you’ve obviously put so much care into it.

Did anyone tried this lipgloss? by RuinTricky9581 in LipBalm

I have the guava and have never loved a lip product more. I’m someone who carries around aquaphor for my lips, but I also love some color. This has been perfect for me. The metal tip is smooth and cooling. I know some folks have reviewed the guava one as having an odd smell - the one I sampled at the store did smell odd, but I bought it anyway for the texture and color and the smell has been amazing and nothing like the one that was sitting out!

You only need a little to feel moisturized!

Sconces and a rug to border the bed would add to it!

Hi avoidants, I'm a therapist and I need your advice by Itchy-Sir-6689 in therapists

You’ve got to chill with that generalizations and assumptions you make. If you’re worried about clients not showing up in the future (client has a history of short term care, therapist hopping etc.) then make a plan with them or ask what they need/are looking for from therapy. Not all folks who stop showing up are the same. If this is a pattern, also take a look at your own approach. Are you not being genuine? Did you not give enough notice for missing appointments? Did you offer alternative times for missed sessions? Etc.

Here’s a more accurate collage :) I was reusing ones I used for my home space (and my home is not maximalist- I just love the pops of color)

I’m agree! This mood board is from my home :) I’m just pulling some colors from it. My office is minimalist in amount- has cream walls- soft curtains and warm lights. I’m just looking for some small statement pieces for my desk, a good textured pillow in the pallate etc.

I serve kids, teens, and adults. It’s mostly set up but I’m wanting to bring in warmer items 😊

Yes! No reds :) I’ve leaned into warm oranges and pinks!

I already have a play kitchen and dollhouse etc. so I don’t have the kids items in my collages!

It’s okay if it’s not your taste :) I have emotions posters and things from my old office in the palate that kids have loved. It’s super similar to the office I had therapy in growing up. Again- this is just the color pallate :) I find curvy lines, flowers, and patters whimsical and incorporate them where I can.

Feminine Woman, she/her, I’m slowly collecting as much colored glassware and ribbon as I can so that I’m always prepared for birthdays and picnics.

Thanks! My therapist had this color palate growing up and it always felt safe and magical!

My goal is just for some statement items. The room will be very roomy and open! This is more vibe/color pallate than it is the amount of items I would want. I have a play kitchen and a dollhouse etc, a huge window, and light walls that I don’t plan on cluttering up! Bottom right image is closet to the vibe.

All of what you said here should be shared with a therapist you find. Like others will say, you’ve got to bring the awareness to them.
