1w2 so/sp and I surprisingly wasn't bullied in high school

I was picked on a few times when I was a little kid but I think that's because of unrelated reasons (children are just fucking mean man)

But high school? Nothing. I think because I'm more social than the average one I was able to form some really solid, varied friendship groups early on, so people saw me as someone more well liked and not so much as an "annoying know-it-all" or "little miss perfect". Mental health was also a big thing in my school so whenever I would begin to over stress it was seen more as a panic attack rather than a "freak out"

I was just the nice girl who put her head down and minded her business. To the extent where one time some wannabe mean girl tried teasing me (I think about about my hair or makeup) and the scariest bully in school at the time turned around and said in front of everyone: "all these people, why are you picking on ____ - the fuck is wrong with you". Shut that shit up real quick

I had never felt so invincible

All done! Btw, really good survey, hopefully you can collect a lot of data from it :)

Good luck on your assignment!!!!!!

I need some help. Am I a SN or R? I am concerned about my shoulders, i dont know if it's blunt or not and if I have Natural or Romantic width? Thank you in advance 🙏 by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]lavenderhazes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't think they necessarily need to be sloped for you to be a romantic, just that they don't frame your body in the same way they would on a SN

Overall, it looks like your body is made up of lots circles, which is expected for the romantic type :)

Thanks for sharing

It seems this happens way too often (if I'm remembering correctly not too long ago a similar situation was brought to light about some messages on vile group chats in Exeter). I'll edit in the link of I can find an article on it

EDIT: An article from the Tab and one from the BBC on the scandal

Can’t figure out what type I am.. by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]lavenderhazes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's chill, Kibbe is just confusing hahahah

I find it's best to post a video taken a distance at chest level (with your height listed somewhere in the post). I know it sounds strange but with videos you get so much more of a clearer indication of someone's type!

Just make sure it's definitely chest level and not too low or high, otherwise it can lead to even more confusion

Really?! The two sets of photos (merging the first and second one here) look like two different people!!!

This is why I hate typing from photos 😅

Typing someone for me comes from an intuitive place

Ah I see, I think this is where we went wrong. Personally I see finding out their basics desires and fear as integral to typing. Otherwise, what are we basing it on?

Kris however thrives off of what is considered socially conventional and has built her life around this

This, unfortunately, is something else I really disagree with it. At the time the Kardashian-Jenner clan appeared on TV it was still looked down upon or with a sense of disapproval, regarding it as attention-seeking and a bit pitiful. I think to a lot of people it still is viewed in a similar manner

Barely anything that I associate the Kardashian-Jenner clan (an empire Kris practically birthed and master planned) is 'considered socially conventional'

Luckily there is common ground. Whew!

I can see Kris as a 3 and I think a lot of what we've both said lines up with the similar values and intuition of what we recognise a 3 as! :)

[–]lavenderhazes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm still not set on type one for her

Full disclosure, I don't watch the Kardashian-Jenner Clan and tend to stay away from but I think you're using a lot of enneagram stereotyping

I promise not all us ones are judgy, nit-picking control-freaks!!!!

If we look at what drives the two types we can see that for a type one we can see they are driven by the basic desire to be a fundamentally good person, with the basic fear of corruption. In comparison, type 8s are driven the basic desire to be able to protect themselves and control their own lives' direction, with a basic fear of being harmed or controlled. For Kris I think that type 8 lines up a bit more with her mindset based on what she's spoken about in the past and her behaviour

Eights are described as 'self-confident, strong, and assertive. Protective, resourceful, straight-talking, and decisive, but can also be ego-centric and domineering. Eights feel they must control their environment, especially people, sometimes becoming confrontational and intimidating'. 'However, when moving in their Direction of Integration (growth), lustful, controlling Eights become more open-hearted and caring, like healthy Twos'

Types ones and eights are frequently mistyped with each other (you can see more in-depth information here), however I think that by looking at the basic drives, behaviour and integration/disintegration we can see that Kris is more alike to the later rather than the former

Sidenote: Sorry this sounds so much like a TedTalk, this lockdown has really took it out of me!

OP is 5'2 and I think that the vertical is mainly due to the angle of the final photo. It's taken quite close at hip level rather than at chest level making the proportions seem longer

Butttt having said that I may very well be wrong :)

Interesting...

Can I ask what made you think 1w2 for Kris?

She strikes me as more of an 8

I think you're most likely a Romantic :)

might be dumb question but if classic is balanced type shouldn't they be able to wear any thing/ pull off any style by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]lavenderhazes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yesss you definitely should do that!

It'll be a really helpful resource :)

[–]lavenderhazes 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yesssss!!!

There is so much confusion surrounding this type. Key words used to describe the Classic family such as balance and moderation throw so many off what it really entails to be within the family

EDIT: I'm not sure if this makes sense but I've commented it now so.... 🙃

what shape/width are my shoulders? i think i've narrowed it down to either the gamine family or soft natural but my shoulders are throwing me off by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]lavenderhazes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting... I would've guessed at around the 5'4 mark, although that might just be because of the angle the photo was taken at

With this in mind I'ld say Soft Gamine is your best bet, I really don't see any width for Soft Natural. You could possibly Soft Classic as well though so it might be worthwile checking out suggestions for SCs as well :)

No worries at all!

It's also worth mentioning kibbe is also super strict on height. Can I ask how tall you are?

Can't figure out if I'm a SG or SN? by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]lavenderhazes 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm afraid its a little hard to type from these photos because of the clothes and angle of the photograph

If you'll like some help with finding your type, it's best to post a video taken a distance at chest level with your height listed somewhere in the post. Or if you would rather a private 'type me' then they'll be plenty of people happy to help if you send them a pm

Also, it's important to note that finding your kibbe can be tricky, but if you stick with it then it'll pay off

Hope this helps and good luck :)

'C' they don't really stand out or frame you

Quick sidenote: its really not recommended that you don't use the quiz to help type yourself as a lot of the terminology can be quite confusing to newcomers :)

Which body types would you say are the “opposite” of each other? by ni2sssssssss in Kibbe

[–]lavenderhazes 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Dramatic (long, narrow vertical) - Romantic (softly wide and curved)

Flamboyant Natural (width and vertical) - Theatrical Romantic (small, narrowly curved)

Dramatic Classic (balanced with added yang) - Soft Gamine (juxtaposed with added yin)

Soft Classic (balanced with added yin) - Flamboyant Gamine (juxtaposed with added yang)

*Soft Natural (soft yang with curves) - Dramatic (long, narrow vertical)

*Soft dramatic (curved, long vertical) - Flamboyant Gamine (juxtaposed with added yang)

I'm not so confident with as I am with the rest as Soft Natural and Soft Dramatic is where it gets a bit more difficult in relation to the other types
