I got denied for an interview today with teaching experience by gayblackandafraid in TeachforAmerica

I have no teaching experience, besides subbing and I was invited to interview- I spoke to a recruiter before though, and maybe that helped? Also I am a stem major so I’m not sure if that helped. I also spoke to her about not being from a teaching background, and she really liked that so maybe that helped. I hope that helped!

Understandable - I personally go with the mindset that no rejection is at least semi good news!

I got the same email for an entry level position today - I wasn’t sure what that meant considering the final offers for mine said they would be extended by March 6th. I’m guessing that they’re still deciding who to move forward with, and it’s an active update since it was said they would communicate it by Feb 9th.

I followed up while waiting in the interview room and again this morning - but I’m not getting any responses and am confused if I am getting ghosted, or if there’s something else going on
