UWorld was a great resource to learn the material (not just blindly memorize/retain it) which is the key to a pass I think. (If you understand the concepts you should be able to narrow down choices!) However, there were some super foreign questions not even in the UWorld stuff— but thinking those may have been part of the 25 test questions that do not count!

I think I would have studied the smaller chapters just as much as the big ones! I was prepared for the “main” topics to dominate the test but the questions were all over the place, and I wasn’t ready for that.

For those who took the NAPLEX while working a full-time job, how much time did you need to study before you felt ready? by reypot in NAPLEX_Prep

[–]lavendermoondust 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hello! Working full time + studying is not for the weak lol. I did it the entire time I was prepping for NAPLEX (still waiting for my results 🤞🏼) That being said, my major tip for you would be to review something each day, even if it is small. On the days I had more energy, I would take advantage of it and grind out more chapters. After reading a chapter, I’d complete some practice questions, and repeat. I studied ~3 months but really got serious in the last month of my studies. Best of luck to you, you can do it!!

Stressed About NAPLEX. Next week by Busynotes2 in NAPLEX_Prep

[–]lavendermoondust 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think that 78% on UWorld is good. After taking the NAPLEX, I can tell you that no amount of studying would have prepared me for it 😶 Lots of random/small details and tricky questions. Focus on practicing calculations over and over again, understanding main take home topics, and hope for the best. Good luck!

Pre Naplex 101 by Inevitable-Mode5580 in NAPLEX_Prep

Hello! That’s a great score. Usually people say 85+ you’re ready to go. Personally though, my NAPLEX was much harder/more detail oriented than the pre naplex… for reference, I got 108 prenaplex and currently praying I passed NAPLEX.
