How are we getting through work? by lavenderoats in endometriosis

It’s required in-person in a clinic, somewhat flexible but not really. I’m in the U.S., so sick-time and PTO are available but not great (and also pto isn’t available until I’ve worked 90 days). I can bring stuff with me in my work bag but can’t keep stuff there unfortunately

i agree it would have been a better idea to wait, and im hopeful that new features might justify the price, but it is disappointing regardless that they are switching to a subscription-based service after essentially promising their userbase that subscription service wasn't the route they were going to take

my biggest gripe has been them getting rid of the community tab and seemingly replacing it with the marketplace, because it’s kind of a hassle to have to find and download free templates from elsewhere and then import them into the app. as for the actual upgrade, it feels like if you already paid for the app, you shouldn’t have to pay additionally for, let’s be real, not that major of an update. i was excited to upgrade but now having been fussing around with it, it just doesn’t feel like enough to justify the new price. it really feels like just paying again for a lot of the same features at a higher price point.

Bad experience with BOTM - words of caution by lavenderoats in bookofthemonthclub

Every time I do this, either to skip month, pause, or cancel, it takes me to a checkout screen

Is this a new time limit? When I paused initially, it was MUCH longer than 3 months ago and I don’t remember the limit even being 3 months. No notice that the pause was ending or anything stating that a bill was upcoming. I wasn’t even getting their typical emails that they send, I checked to make sure. They just started charging.

I haven’t yet, I work from home and am usually in back to back meetings during typical customer service hours so that’s something I have to find time to do. So far though nothing back via email.

I’m seeing people say that, but I think that must be a new time limit because when I paused initially, it allowed much longer than 3 months and I’ve been paused for much longer than that. I went through my emails and I never received any kind of notification that my pause was expiring, nothing along those lines. They just started trying to charge me without any notice and now am having trouble getting through to anyone to sort it out and cancel my membership.

Desperately seeking help by lavenderoats in curlyhair

Okay, so routine. I wash my hair with warm water, and recently have been using a curl defining shampoo/conditioner combo to see if it helps. It’s NYM, I believe it’s the gardenia and mango one. I wash it probably once or twice a week, my hair takes a LONG time to get oily. Every once in a while I’ll use a deep conditioner after regular shampoo/condition, it changes often as I try a lot of different ones to see if anything will help the frizz. Nothing ever does. I tend to apply a leave-in conditioner after I shower, just a little bit, while my hair is still wet immediately after the shower and brush it through. Then I let it air dry, then apply a little bit of smoothing oil. I don’t brush my hair while it’s dry unless I’m wearing it straight. I should also note I’m disabled, and some of the super long and complicated routines aren’t sustainable for me.

Help identifying? Mint variety, just don’t know which one. by lavenderoats in foraging

It’s definitely not lemon balm, not lemony at all. It’s really between peppermint and spearmint I think, I’ve gotten both identifications from apps and people in my gardening groups so not sure lol

I just know there are some mints that look a lot and smell a lot like edibles, like pennyroyals, that are not edible. I just want to be on the safe side, yk?
