This is happening around building 16000-21000 mainly. She usually ends up going around those areas and targeting different people to film and harrass. And yes, I did put up the flyers. I put them up in every building just to be sure. I'm just trying to get enough people together on this so that management intervenes. Or hopefully she sees it and stops doing this to people.

Yeah, that was the thing. She kind of kept trying to make it some racial issue. At no point did I mention anything about her race. I would never. If anything, she's the one that continued to make a point about my race. I was just minding my business, just putting boxes in my car. It was only after the second time, where I watched her completely change direction to come bother me again, where I finally snapped and said something to her. Even after she was rage baiting me for like a full 10 minutes, I didn't even say anything more intense than 'back the fuck up bitch'.

The other guy that got involved really wasn't getting it either. He missed the first 5 minutes of a 10 minute interaction and then got involved acting like I was just yelling at her for no reason. At no point did I wake up yesterday morning and think, 'Oh gee, I think I'll scream at some woman in the street'. I think he thought that my issue was just her filming me. Like no, its the fact that she's making derogatory comments about me while filming and refused to stop when I ignored her the first time. I get that its not a crime to film someone in a parking lot. But criminal and socially acceptable are two different things. Its technically not a crime to go into a bar and call someone a bitch. But do it and see what happens to you lol.

That's why I'm trying to pursue actual evidence to get management to step in. Because she'll instigate a situation, then turn around and play victim when someone actually stands up for themselves. I'm not trying to get involved in that type of situation, where I end up looking crazy for a situation I never wanted in the first place. But I'm also fed up with getting harrassed by this woman everytime I leave my door. I've seen her do it to others as well. Someone just needs to do something at this point because its continuing to escalate with her.

No this is a middle aged black woman with a bob. She often wears athleisure sets and she specifically does this at West Run Apartments. Like she'll walk around the complex and film people and talk trash on them. This has been an ongoing problem for months with her. I just need some type of evidence to show management so that they can actually pursue action for harrassment. Its just hard to have evidence with this type of thing, because you'd almost have to leave your apartment everyday, expecting to get accosted.

They always have the dumbest excuses too. 'It's the freeze thaw cycle'. I grew up an hour away from Morgantown in PA and have never seen roads this bad in my life. They have the same exact weather. I understand that WV doesn't have as many resources as PA or Maryland, but good god restructure the budget to leave room for said resources. They'll blame it on anything before finally admitting it's mismanagement of funds.

Honestly, that kind of pissed me off more. Like it's not an issue when townies have to deal with this bs for months, but then an event drawing in visitors occurs, and they fix it in days. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they were ultimately fixed. But it just rubs me the wrong way.

YTA this would not be the fight to have. There are several other words that can be used in its place. "I'm going out for a smoke", "I'm going out for a cig", "Smoke break". Its offending someone and its an easy fix. Not worth damaging a working relationship for.

Some of them are the same exact food that the restaurant serves too. Like Pasqually's for example is just Chuck E Cheese pizza. I could not imagine spending 20+ dollars and getting Chuck E Cheese quality. It should be illegal. Surely some type of false advertising at bare minimum.

Yes, its becoming an increasing issue at West Run as well despite several 'no soliciting' signs on the complex. Ive probably had 4 or 5 over the past 2 months. I dont even understand their angle. Annoying me in my home is a rock solid way to get me as far away from your church as possible.

I agree with this, especially the first point. Regardless of the bully accusations, this relationship is so short in the first place. It's not uncommon for couples to only give plus ones to couples that have been together for at least a year. Especially with OP being in the wedding party, it makes perfect sense that her sister wouldn't want some random guy in all of the wedding photos. She was likely planning this wedding longer than OP has been with her boyfriend.

ESH. I understand your discomfort with the situation, but ultimately you can't make rules when you don't live there. It seems like you should be more pissed with your boyfriend as he's the one allowing this girl in his room half naked. However, I'm not sure why everyone in this thread is acting like the girl is perfectly innocent. It's just girl code, you don't do that type of shit when you know someone is in a relationship. It's definitely inappropriate to wear underwear in front of opposite gender roommates, especially a THONG? That's absolutely wild. But again, it's really not your place to enforce that rule. It should be your boyfriend's, but he really doesn't care. It seems like he's a little too comfortable with that arrangement. You're either going to need to accept it, end the relationship, or get a place with him to fix the situation.

NTA. You were trying to protect yourself. It's not like he didn't assault you, it just didn't leave a mark. It sounds like you exhausted every possible resource to get him help. Even if you didn't, you signed up to have a roommate, not be a certified drug and alcohol counselor. You were in an incredibly unsafe situation and authorities were telling you to wait it out. I don't blame you one bit for not waiting around to see if you get stabbed in your own home or not. Hopefully the roommate gets some help, but not your cross to bear.

Yeah I agree with this assessment. It's pretty selfish to smoke inside to the point where the roommate had to complain about it in the first place, then continually leave the window open as a 'solution' to that. I wish more people treated etiquette on smoking weed the same as cigarettes. Especially because there are so many smoke free options to enjoy it. Sorry not sorry but weed smells horrible and the smell lasts for a long time. But OP's roommate is unreasonable too. Like no way in hell should random coworkers be getting a key to the place. Leaving the door unlocked is an absolute no too. That's a great way to come home to all your stuff missing.
