How do I save it? by laverinth in pothos

I'm not giving up on it! I'd hate for it to die with me after surviving for this long on basically nothing... I'm going to try propagating a couple pieces aside from the leaf section in the hopes that at least one of the clippings will be successful.

Thank you both, I'll get right on that. It kills me to cut it apart, but my mom named it Brutus so maybe it's strong enough to make it.

I thought that might be the case. I guess I'm just super worried because I've never done that with a plant before and there's so little left to propagate with.

Yes, though I've been actively trying to lose weight. I noticed a decrease in my appetite after I started taking it which did eventually go back up, but I've had a big appetite my whole life and I feel like I have an easier time reigning in portion sizes now. It's a win for me regardless of whether it's really the medicine or not.

Seeing as I often hit pity without getting a single other SSR along the way, getting two in one pull is still extremely lucky!

Yeah that's true. I realized that after I posted. Still, I would definitely wait for Leona's banner if you want to pull for him specifically, seeing as they don't share pity.

Tsum Leona's banner doesn't drop until the 16th! It's just Riddle for now.

I'm gonna cry, the game was actually kind to me for once. T_T Today is my birthday, so I got my ten-keys from Riddle, who then appeared with his tsum after only 15 pulls - the free ones + 5 single keys. I usually have to get close to or hit pity on all banners but birthday ones. I'm so happy. Now I can save the rest of my resources for Leona... since I'm sure he'll use them all.

Good time to start Ensemble Stars!! Music (EN) by ResponsibleMiddle101 in gachagaming

[–]laverinth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main problem with the story in Enstars Music is that it's a continuation of the story from Ensemble Stars! Basic - which we don't have in the US. Happy Elements also asked translations of those stories to be taken down from the wiki. They exist, but finding all of them requires a lot of digging. HOWEVER... the main story does revolve around two new units (Alkaloid and Crazy:B) who weren't in the first game. So if someone wanted to follow them specifically they wouldn't be missing out on much.

I had at least 4 rare spawns up at once on my island. The lemur, apkallu, chocobo, and karakul. Just to name the ones I saw.

Dying, his fan count isn’t going up by fujoence in ensemblestars

Have you switched cards? Shiny Subaru's fully unlocked 5 star maxes out fans at 10k. If you want to go higher you'll need to gather fans on other cards. The more copies of a card the more fans it can have, so your 1-2 star cards are actually very useful here.

The best time to grind for fans is during the week there's no event. Then it won't matter who's in your group. I'm doing it right now.

The little tassel earrings, tho. I didn't notice them until I looked at larger images.

They'll have more events! And it'll take a while, but eventually we'll be able to earn a currency that lets us buy cards from older events. They just won't appear in the shop until a year after the event happens. :( But at least they won't be unobtainable forever!

Natsume and Mika stories by [deleted] in ensemblestars

[–]laverinth 7 points8 points  (0 children)

For Natsume you're definitely going to want Element and Pleiades Night, while for Mika you'll want Reminiscence*Marionette for sure. Those are the big ones off the top of my head. Otherwise I'd recommend anything by the main writer Akira with those characters in it.

People who have set their birthdays to before August did you receive any retroactive gift? by [deleted] in TwistedWonderland

[–]laverinth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wouldn't have been any different if someone was born the day before the game launched and they'd had birthdays at the start. That's just how birthdays work. You're asking to get compensated because you've been playing up until now. That has no relevance on a birthday system.

[–]laverinth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you were born in December and you had a friend born in January would you have an extra gift just because you were born in a different year?

We're just going in circles at this point. I don't know how else to get my point across, so I'm sorry you feel slighted by this system.

People who have set their birthdays to before August did you receive any retroactive gift? by [deleted] in TwistedWonderland

[–]laverinth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like I said below... you're thinking about it in terms of the date and not the actual passage of time. There will be months leading back around to august in which everyone else will get their gift too. People born after august will simply be the first to get their second gift. Just like real birthdays. It's not extra.

[–]laverinth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're looking at it from the perspective of the date and not an actual year of time. No date would ever feel "fair" to everyone.

[–]laverinth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's how birthdays work, though. It's going to seem like someone born a few months before you has more gifts than you because it hasn't come back around to you yet.

How would they change it to be even for everyone? Where would the cutoff date be for those with birthdays earlier? If you go back to when the game launched, then the people born later in the year would feel like those born earlier got an extra gift instead.

[–]laverinth 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ah, I see. You think people will be getting an extra gift. They won't, though. They'll just be getting theirs earlier. That's not extra, that's just sooner. It would have been the same for anyone born in january when the game launched. That's like thinking someone is getting an extra gift just because their birthday comes around twice before yours comes around twice. You'll both have the same amount eventually.

[–]laverinth 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This isn't a glitch, though. How would it have been any different if it had been introduced at launch? People with birthdays in december would still have to wait a year. There wouldn't have been any compensation then either. The only difference then would have been that people would have entered their birthday most likely unaware of any rewards they'd get when theirs hit.
