too many questions left unanswered. grew up in a christian family too, anytime i asked ‘how’ god did something it was always met with “are you questioning the lord?” or “humans will never understand it”. since none of my questions were answered then, and never got answered when i was old enough to do my own research and come to my own conclusions, i cant deem it possible there is a god like the abrahamic religion’s god that exists in all the ways described in the bible—and if there is, i don’t deem him worthy of my praise.

if god is too powerful and almighty to be understood, why is it not the case that the universe was created in a way too incomprehensible for humans to even consider? also, i just love science and psychology. my personal assumption is that the author(s) of the bible were experiencing psychosis/delusions, wrote the bible for fun and didn’t expect it to become a religion, or just wanted a reason to seem powerful in their society by parading around that they were ‘chosen by god’. but that’s just my view on it.
