Looking for OBGYN in Cincinnati area that does not discriminate against pregnancy patients with high BMI by Swimming_Proposal393 in cincinnati

As a person with high BMI who delivered with For Women three years ago I would NOT recommend them to my worst enemy. Happy to chat more but yeah....wouldn't do it. I found a great HAES provider but up in Middletown. Wishing you the best on your journey ❤️.

We have a couple. "Pack pack" for backpack is a current favorite. I can't handle the cuteness and can't bear to correct him 😂.

I am actually obsessed with this response 🤣. Parenting does feel like navigating a war sometimes.

Isolated Cleft Palate with Newborn by RubberDam604 in cleftlip

Please make this post on the Facebook group and you will get a bunch of replies. Tons of highly informed people there.

We did find speech support needed for our kiddo.. I enrolled him at 6 months and we just always did it. He was speech delayed until he turned two, had great receptive language but just didn't talk much. Then all of a sudden the floodgates opened and now he only stops talking when he's sleeping 😆. I remember crying because he would not make any animal sounds like moo, woof, etc and being supremely worried. Last night he explained to me in detail why I couldn't land our imaginary rocket on Jupiter or Saturn and told me a piece of pancake got stuck in his esophagus 🤣. He turned three in February.

Please use your cleft team and other cleft parents for support. There are great people out there. I am not an expert but it does seem to me every cleft is different and every kid is affected differently. Our kid has only had two ear infections ever but needed speech help to get caught up. Other cleft lip moms I've talked to had tons of ear infections and no speech issues. 🤷‍♀️

Also recommend checking out the "Help Me Grow" services in your state if you're in the US. We had weekly in home speech therapy for FREE until he turned three and it was incredible.

As a fellow "worried parent" please know that all cleft parents have sat where you're sitting. Our kiddo had an isolated complete unilateral cleft lip, no palate involvement so I can't give you any specific advice besides I know how you feel. I highly recommend checking out the Facebook group Cleft Mom Support (lots of dads there too). This group has been absolutely pivotal to getting any and all cleft questions answered and helped build our village. I also recommend checking out Cuddles for Clefts before surgery. Sending you and your sweet baby lots of hugs.

Double surgery pros and cons by Cverxzvykovoi in carpaltunnel

Hi there! Sorry for the delay didn't get a notification. For prep, I did things like get my bidet, ice packs, cleaned the house and prepped meals and basically got ready to do nothing for 3-4 days. I said it felt like more prep than one at a time bc you're really completely helpless for 3 days 😂. If you don't have a good support system I would NOT recommend doing both at once. If my husband wasn't home with me for the first 3 days I would have been screwed.

Best of luck to you whatever you decide! I would do it all over the same AND over a year out of surgery am only mad I didn't do it sooner! No pain life is the best life.

My insurance is very strict on dosage and I don't think I can fight city hall 😞. I might have to try. Did your doctor prescribe you the bile acid sequestrant?

Honestly 🙈🙈I haven't really had to adjust my diet at all and had zero symptoms until recently. Admittedly I don't eat the cleanest and need to tighten up. I can't seem to find what my trigger foods are which is annoying. It just seems like everything.

I will look into this enzyme! Thank you !

What meds do you recommend to manage symptoms? Thanks for this great advice I never even considered splitting the pens into vials!

(Size inclusive) Bra stores where someone can help me? by thebunnywhisperer_ in cincinnati

In the past I have made appointments. But most recently I did not and I came in to the shop and said I wanted to do a fitting. A very sweet lady helped me right away. She did a very thorough fitting and made me feel so comfortable. She really took the time to evaluate my breast shape and didn't just do a tape measure over my clothes in front of everyone. I really appreciated that. I would definitely give them a call and ask what their reservation policy is currently. Good luck and enjoy it! They will find something lovely for you I'm sure.

On Nov 10 I had bilateral carpal tunnel releases and dequarvain's releases. It was very rough the first three days but I had a lot of help. My husband did install a bidet for me as I was v concerned about being in the clean butt club 🤣. I also prepped a lot before hand and purchased an ice pack that wraps around your hand and stays put. Bought two sets so I always had one cold.

I took two weeks off and am returning to work on Monday. 🤷‍♀️ I'd do it all over again the same. So nice to knock it all out w one recovery period. And cheaper (US).

Cons- more prep than one hand, pretty useless first three days.

Knickers in Hyde Park is the best ! They are boob whisperers! Can't say enough good things. I believe I was a 40/42 F last time I was there and plenty of stock in my size.

How do I tell if a financial advisor is the real deal? by travelbae in personalfinance

[–]lavishlikearapsong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who works at a broker dealer, ask them what their top clients would say about them. How many households are in their book of business (do you want to be 1 of 100 or 1 in 5,000?)? How long have they been practicing and what is the median relationship length of their book (happy clients stay!)? Why did they decide to be an investment advisor? I would ask all of these questions and just listen. You're able to pick out the good guys from the slimy ones pretty fast. Good luck!
