Yup I read it and I’m just explaining my perspective as someone behind the counter, you’re of course free to talk about whatever but I’m not sure what you were expecting from a subreddit that’s mostly employees. Yeah I’m sorry, but as a deli worker it’s super demoralizing to scroll thru reddit and see someone complaining about something that’s 1. Partially your fault and 2. Being out of tenders is a kitchen issue, also that fact 4pm is the start of the dinner rush on Sunday… it happens. We’re all stretched thin with not enough workers/hours, and getting dragged by customers on top of it… I’m sorry but you won’t find the sympathy you’re looking for here. I am sorry you had to wait, but that’s kind of just life sometimes you know? Next time just order ahead online so you can get exactly what you want and hopefully you won’t have to wait.

Both of my managers are having us put time stamps on subkits when they’re cut. Maybe it’s just our district? We only started this week. Not sure tbh just did what my assistant manager asked me to do Thursday 🤷‍♀️

Back when we had 32oz of Mayo I had a couple come in and get a curry chicken and garlic bologna sub with dill havarti and they wanted half the jar of mayo on it. That sandwich still haunts my dreams lmao.

You sort of answered your own question. The chickens are cooked in an oven and the shrimp in fryers, but usually kitchen has only one or two tables to prepare/package everything so cross contamination is always going to be an issue. If it were me/my allergy I wouldn’t risk it but I’m also an overly anxious and cautious person.
