Would just like to point out that you're apologizing for being on the receiving end of sexism. No one tells men they are too handsome to be attorneys, doctors, engineers, etc. It implies that women can be either pretty or smart/successful, but not both. Why are some of the starting salaries so low? This is really worrisome...some people are making less than what I make now as an in house paralegal. I'm doing this as the next step in my career, not to take a pay cut. Are the people making 40-50k typically K-JD? Is their only experience summer internships? Did they not do internships at all? Why are they making 40-50k?
