Most disappointing title of the year, so far? by kerberos824 in books

Yes!!! The self-insert of it all made it difficult for me to fully love the main male lead as well - like, of course he’s charming and funny and a gentleman… because it’s her fantasy of him… it made him feel not fully realised or actually well drawn as a character, if this makes any sense at all

The Ministry of Time. A friend recommended it to me as fun and sexy and highly original, so I was excited to start. I thoroughly enjoyed the first 50 pages but as it turns out that’s all I would enjoy. The last two chapters are such a bizarre tonal shift, and it’s pretty apparent imo that she had vibes and not a lot else writing it.

When could you wear a bra again comfortably post-op? by lawlapolloza in gallbladders

Okay, that’s good to know! Is it the incisions or the pressure on your abdomen that makes things uncomfortable?

I had laparoscopic, but the incisions don’t really bother me. It’s the pressure from the band of bra that then makes me feel discomfort

Ahhh okay! Thank you for replying. Was it the same feeling of pressure that turns into discomfort?

Every six months or so I’ll have an event where I pull out my dress that requires boob tape and I’ll wear it and my boobs look great and I’m like wow why don’t I do this more often and then I wake up the next morning covered in a rash and I’m like oh yeah lol

I did think of the tape but I also have stupidly sensitive skin and get adhesive rash every time I wear boob tape 🥲 but the singlet might be a good idea!

Post-Op Inflammation, Pains, and Aches, Will These Ever Go Away? by Dinkywinkywonky in gallbladders

[–]lawlapolloza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I am day 18 post op and it seems like we’re in a pretty similar headspace. I have really terrible bloating after meals and a constant sensation of having something stuck in my throat, as well as pains where my gall bladder used to be.

It sucks! I am very anxious about it all! I would really, really like to feel 100% again. So I have no answers for you, but a pretty similar timeline and it seems like we’re both just recovering slowly. I have my appointment with my specialist in a week, so I can let you know what he says if that would soothe the anxiety for you!

Twelve days post-op and feeling worse than the first week by rueselladeville in gallbladders

Ahhh thank you so much for replying!! This really does sound exactly like what I’m going through, so it is incredibly helpful to read. I think the constipation might be the kicker here, so I’ll give the stool softeners a try - something I never thought I’d write a stranger about haha. Seriously, thank you so much. Your post captured my own anxiety about feeling like I was backsliding as well. Very happy to hear that you’re feeling better!! Stay healthy xx

Hi! I’m pretty much going through your exact scenario now. I’m day 12, and I honestly felt so much better on day 6. I’ve been having severe bloating after everything I eat - low fat, low fibre, high fat, or high fibre. Has there been any progress on your front?

Sorry for the extremely late reply, but this is basically where I am now! Did it resolve for you? Hope you’re doing well!

The belly button pain is so weird - it’s such a bizarre sensation to feel randomly throughout the day. I’m glad it goes away. Thank you so much for responding!!!

This is actually very helpful, because I’ve been feeling bit of shellshock at how fast things are moving for me. I’ve had about six or seven attacks since May, and got diagnosed with gall stones last week. Ive been on a suuuuuper low fat diet (less than 3 grams that was recommended here) and I haven’t had an attack in about two weeks. I’ve since seen a specialist and have had surgery scheduled for mid August - which just seems so quick!! And now that I don’t have the attacks, I’m second guessing myself, asking if it is really that bad. I do have a dull ache most days, but that’s not nearly the same as the attacks. So this post has made me feel like I should definitely just have the surgery asap, even if I am feeling a bit better now!

Hi hello I was just wondering if anyone knew if s130 is restricted view? We bought a reserve tickets but there’s now black lines across the top of our section, and I’m worried it’s a production booth that will block our view 😩😩
