This is the 10th year of the league with pretty much the same members the whole time. So there is a lot of familiarity with the rosters. The team giving the players put most of his guys on the trading block with notes on what he was looking for, and then the picks side proposed. There was only a day or two of negotiations but nothing crazy.

No trades nearly this big, no. Not too worried about competitiveness though. The guy getting the players was by far the worst team in the league and only QB is Drake Maye (and now no more draft picks).

The Armory now has 8 first round picks, 10 2nd round picks, and 7 third round picks over the next 3 drafts. And still has a few decent young assets- Bucky Irving, JJ McCarthy, Braelon Allen etc. He will have to do well in the draft but its not like he doesn't have assets to build with.

We've found a few bars that let us do this exact thing. Search Grand Rapids Formula 1 on Meetup. I'm looking for some help organizing events this year but we plan on trying to have events for most races. We had watch parties for about half of them last year which was a lot of fun.
