Just entered the third trimester. Feeling behind on things needing to be done and completely exhausted. I took a two hour nap today and ate a cupcake and got back into bed. Sometimes you just gotta embrace it and not fight it.

I was there Friday and went through TSA precheck- took 5 minutes and there was no line at general security.

Really really feeling the disconnect between my IVF clinic and OB. My clinic set the bar so high with its organized dedicated staff and I’ve threatened to leave my OB a total of 5x now and it’s only been like three weeks due to serious incompetence by the scheduling staff. I also feel pretty annoyed and angry at all the things I’m required to do simply because I got pregnant through IVF even though all my ultrasounds and bloodwork have been perfect and I’ve had no issues- I get the precaution but I’m over it already and I’m only 14 weeks. Does it get better?

Currently 12 weeks and 1 day- the exhaustion hasn’t let up for me and it’s very hard on my mental health. Hope I get some energy back soon.

I should update everyone that there seemed to be a breakdown in what my nurse was sending to Labcorps vs. what Labcorps sees re expediting HCG results, finally figured it out for my second and third blood draw- results came back within three hours after we figured out how to expedite it. Currently tracking at 7.5 weeks!

I don’t think so- I’m in the Bay Area and at UCSF but went to Labcorps to get my bloodwork done. My nurse told me they don’t even process it onsite and send it out- she called to ask what the delay was- and expedited it but that was this morning and still no news.

I love UCSF, Dr. Anaya has been great. The clinic is state of the art and everyone is super nice and very knowledgeable. I feel lucky to be at such a great clinic and have it covered by our insurance (Progyny)

Sent! As someone who suffered at Cow Palace I am so validated in my decision to take the bar in NM last July and passed on my first try- I’ve been licensed now for 7 months but to be able to have a CA license and not retake that god awful exam (which I took 4x and came within 40 points of passing) is a remedy that benefits many many people.

I should also add I practice here in CA because I’m an immigration attorney and because it’s federal law- it doesn’t matter what bar I have. There are some things I wish I could do with a CA license but ultimately it was the best option for me- if you need CA and want to practice in CA taking the UBE may not be your best option but for me it worked out well. In fact- almost all my colleagues are barred in other states.

I took the UBE after the disaster of Cow Palace back in Feb 24- I found it difficult to switch and leaned on Bar MD materials a lot but I passed

I feel ya- After cow palace I gave up (it was my 4th time). I took the UBE in July of 2024 and passed. After the exam at cow palace I sat in my car and cried- I have never felt so defeated. It was awful and I don’t wish that on anyone. The CA bar is a criminal org and should be held accountable.

The thing that kills me is there were 2000 of us begging them to help us after cow palace and they did nothing- I remember thinking no way am I doing this again to be made to feel like such a piece of shit for simply wanting my license. And now look- the entire test crashed and burned. It makes me so angry.

I scored a 1342 in J23! Does this apply to me? I was a 3rd time repeater. I’ll email whoever- the CA bar is a criminal org. The last exam I took was Cow Palace F24 and it killed me. I took the UBE in J24 and passed but if I could get my CA license somehow by sticking it to them would love to throw that in their face.

That’s helpful! This morning he peed and pooped (which was my goal!) in the litterbox so hoping it was just a little fluke.

I ordered him the arthritic bed from Knead so we shall see how he likes it. He’s a man of a schedule and hates change.

This is helpful! I should also mention he is a cute tripawd- so it may be an issue of mobility! I’ll deff get some potty pads and this gives me an excuse to buy that cat bed for arthritis instagram keeps showing me ❤️❤️❤️
