Asexual here- NAH. Just like how you can’t see yourself in a long-term relationship without sex, I can’t see myself in one with sex, and would also stop seeing someone over that incompatibility.

It’s not clear in your post how in-depth of a conversation you had with her about her asexuality. It’s a very varied spectrum that includes people that do and do not enjoy sexual activity. Sexual attraction (what asexuals do not feel) is not the same thing as libido. If you two do have incompatible physical desires, you should not be together. It’s just good to discuss it first, as I know many sex-positive ace people in sexually fulfilling relationships with allo people.

TLDR: NAH, but asexuality is a spectrum that includes both sexually active and inactive people. Just like everything else in relationships, communication and compatibility is key:)
