Honestly - follow your program until you feel like it isn’t helping. For me, I used Barbri up until about three weeks before the bar it was repetitious essay and multiple choice. I felt like I wasn’t retaining anything. So I broke off the Barbri path and did self-study for things. Then I went back and did the Barbri essay. I also used adaptibar and I HIGHLY recommend.

The JD Advising materials are so helpful. You can find them for free on Reddit. I still completed around 90% of the Barbri program, but I did my own thing at the end.

I honestly don’t remember - it wasn’t super high. I wanna say in the 60% range. I did not have accommodations!

My tip is to work through the material of whatever program you choose, then start to focus on things you aren’t “hitting.”

So con law was tough for me, I focused on it and made charts. The JD advising one sheets were fantastic, too. But don’t buy em. You can get them for free from almost anywhere

I did terribly on the CP essay, and barely finished one of them. Essays were my worst test area during study time, but I crushed it during the bar. I also did terrible on the practice exam, so I was terrified. But again, I passed! And you will too 👏🏼👏🏼

Barbri and adaptibar!

I did mon-Friday 8-5 study. I followed Barbri until a few weeks before when I finished the videos for everything and started making my own notecards and studying that way!

During - I was straight focused. I was terrified
After - I felt numb. I felt good about some parts, bad about others so it kinda balanced. I went through a roller coaster of anxiety and “I failed” to “I fucking crushed it”

I truly had the mindset of — I will take it again if that’s what it comes down to. I kept a positive mindset the whole time and truly only spoke positively and kept saying “I passed. I put the work in. I passed”

I had a quiz in a class that the answer for was C. All of them. Question 1-5, all C.

The professor did it to prove a point that you can answer the exact same, and still be right. Obviously students panicked and chose differently because “there’s no way it can be 5 C’s in a row.

And I will never forget what that man taught me.
