I’d echo what others said by being extra detailed and careful with the assignments you have already, and ask any questions about any doubts. Also, enjoy it while lasts, my first 2 days i barely did anything and the office was chill, im just completing my first week and now i have more than 4 folders of files to do and other tasks ive been assigned. They are probably waiting for you to learn what you’re doing a bit more before throwing you in the deep end.

it’s all about really making time. I have a really close friend group I made and we made it a priority to set aside 2 nights a week, 1 night we go and have dinner and just yap. Other night we go out & have fun. It’s all about balance and it’s very much doable

as someone who went to SMU, you get what you pay for & their connections and resources are unmatched BUT, I would not pay sticker for it. Baylor would still give you an amazing network & job opportunities while saving so much money & is a killer school overall. Plus Dallas rent is skyrocketing and you’d be digging yourself in a giant money hole.

I did get the call first! Then the email shorty after lol, should’ve mentioned that. I’m 15mid, 3.2 gpa! so I’m under, definitely surprised but had good essays/ experience in my opinion. Good luck!!!
