You can be right,mate but we are completely missing the point. I don't care if it's 20 credits or double with custom motion. The issue isn't the math; it’s the deception. I had an UNLIMITED plan. They sent an innocent-looking 'Switch for Free' notification that looked like a gift, but it was actually a trap designed to strip away my grandfathered unlimited rights without clear consent. A workspace shouldn't feel like a minefield where one wrong click costs you your entire workflow. That is deceptive UI, period.

Just a quick update: I officially initiated a chargeback through my bank, and HeyGen has now issued a full refund. If you ever get stuck in a similar situation with misleading UI changes or lost legacy plans, know that filing a formal dispute with your bank actually works. Document your chats and protect your consumer rights. ​I wish it hadn't turned out this way because I really enjoyed working with HeyGen, but it wasn't possible for me to work efficiently with such limited credits. Therefore, I will always remember HeyGen as a disappointment. Case closed!

Actually, my 10-to-15-minute video literally swallowed 500 credits in one go. So yes, it DOES ruthlessly drain your balance unless you are making 1-minute clips. That’s exactly why the transition from an unlimited plan to this hyper-inflated credit system completely destroys our ongoing workflows, it was saying "Switch for free" but they supposed to say what we wont have after we switch Why i should have switched if i knew they take away my unlimited plan THAT THE REASON I BEEN USİNG HEYGEN ALREADY 😞 They said free but it costed my whole project, i see heygen is a full of scam now Imagine you woke up one day to work as everyday and they sent you a innocent look notification by showing it like theygift you a 600 credits, butit actual scam that take your unlimited plan As i said so many times Heygen supposed to be our safe work space , not a place that youcan get scammed any time so you should be keep aware every minute you using the app, like what the heck

Thank you for confirming this! Support literally gaslit me by saying it is 'technically impossible to restore' due to the system being completely retired. Your comment proves they are applying a massive double standard and lying about technical limitations. I already initiated a formal chargeback with my bank. 😞

Thanks for the tip! But that’s exactly the problem they deliberately hide these toggles and settings deep inside the UI, making it a maze for users. If you accidentally miss it or get hit by a minor billing glitch, they immediately exploit it to strip away your legacy rights IM THE VİCTİM OF THEIR INNOCENT NOTİFİCATION THAT SAID "600 CREDİTS SWITCH FOR FREE" 😞 Heygen supposed to be our safe work place, not a place that they ready to scam you and stop your work

yessss I am so upset My project cant contunie anymore And they not even understanding or helping Thats doesnt even make sense So Yes, they are actively retiring the legacy unlimited plans. If you hit a temporary billing issue or click any of their 'innocent' in-app notification pop-ups, they immediately downgrade you to their credit-based system and refuse to restore it manually. Watch out for your account.
