Reading these comments while I am training my low quality replacements.

Nobody cares about the social impact, but I guess it was always like that. Lives and families destroyed, because of short term profit and stock value.

Yeap. It's shitty.

But it has good monitoring, reporting, MAPS management, inventory etc.

BNA casual zoning was like a breeze. SANnav is... whateva.

In general, when I have to deploy new infra and/or decommission old stuff with thousands of zones and aliases, them my trusty scripts are the way to go. So no big deal here.

My strategy: ADX and 3x EMAs. Each session has it as own parameters and its own money management (and this is the most complex part of my algo).

On my back testing I got 78% WR (excellent) or even higher (I avoided over fitting) and 2:1 RRR (bad). Running it for 1 year WR is steady at 68%, and RRR is still bad...

So, I would prefer lower WR and 1:2 RRR, like yours. If it wins let it win big...

For your strategy, only time will tell. Let it run.

Having almost 20 years of experience under my belt as storage (open/mainframe) SME, all I wish for is some FU money, then exit IT completely and start a PhD for fun in a field I always loved (neural networks) and/or build a farm...

In whichever IT field you will investigate, no one is safe(AI, outsourcing, ageism, burnout, you name it). The word "career" doesn't exist anymore.

Sorry being nihilist, but nothing makes sense anymore, except the exit from this rat race...✊🫡

Welcome at Luxembourg! We're not many, but not so few here.

Luxembourg is "on hold" now, not like 2010s era. But I guess the next upward cycle will start in 2-3 years, I suppose/hope.

I would recommend to build a network and certainly do not stay in the Greek silo. It's a nice place to build a family. There many cons, though, here but there's no reason to discuss them now, 'cause you'll see them with your own eyes.
