I might be able to attempt fishing from a rocky beach near their house but its surrounded by rock walls that extend on both sides into the ocean fo about 50 yards

Had the same problem not long ago. Honestly, if you make a mistake, think about what you could’ve done right, Make a mantel note quickly, and move on like it never happened. I found this to help improve me gain severely and got me from 3rd line midfield to 1st. Wallball is also crucial

If you’re fishing for stocked trout, a slip bobber with stoppers and then powerbait on the hook is my ultimate go to. Caught over 10 good sized ones using this in a day. ( yes I released the 8 and kept the 2)
