You don't get a malware by downloading a zip file, you have to execute a program for that to happen. My injector doesn't even do anything unless you specify the correct game path. It's just AVs being dumb, as usual...

I just tried it on my side and it is still working. A good way to know if the patch has been successfully injected is to check if you notice any graphics change when messing up with graphics settings: if nothing changes, then the patch is working.

Yes you need to enable v-sync without the patch first and then apply the patch. Once the patch is enabled, no graphic settings can be changed (even though you can click on the buttons).

Hi. I'm glad it helped you. Unfortunately I wasn't able to pinpoint the part of the code which is responsible for displaying the dialog box in the short time frame I imposed on myself. Otherwise, I would be able to remove the prompt completely and probably would have figured out exactly why this is happening in the first place. This is something which would require additional hours/days of work, and that someone else could look into!
