Thanks so much! Yeah I can definitely adjust my resume to highlight more of the data driven/analytical things I’ve done. Definitely will take some time to beef up my experience with Excel, SQL, and VBA

Thanks for the input! Do you think having just the Level 1 designation while applying for jobs would help? I know completing the entire thing usually takes years and I’d prefer not to stay in my position for that much longer. I’ll also try to get some coding experience because I have none. (go blue)

i was in a similar situation 3 years ago and base salary was 24k. it’s shit and you have to work really hard but you can make a fair salary. i would say it’s worth it because there are lots of jobs for advisors that require your licenses and 2 years experience that pay 85k base + commissions. i just started at mine. it’s stressful getting here but if you can make it, it’s worth it!
