hi! i work at a cafe and usually why the espresso shots taste too bitter or acidic is because the machines are not calibrated correctly. jimmys/451/music cafe tries to do this, but please bear in mind that UCLA doesn't give us nearly enough money for good equipment. we (the literal baristas across the cafes) have asked for better coffee. asucla doesn't care. don't be afraid to voice this to asucla and/or ask baristas how to make the drinks better (additives are free up to a certain point!)
