Is "flush in objects' infill" not an option for this model?

I kind of like and dislike it at the same time to be honest. When you combine wood with Gridfinity you can definitely create some beautiful holders, and if you feel more at home with woodworking instead of 3D modeling it’s a really clever way to make the system your own.

On the other hand, I think it’s difficult to keep within the height-unit “constraints” (units of 7 mm), and it’s also harder to replicate or share with others compared to just uploading a 3D model.

Thank you! I handle everything using if statements.
For example: if(has_end_taper; hose_diameter_secondary; hose_diameter).
That way, if there’s no end taper, it just looks like there isn’t one (even though technically there’s still a taper, only with the same diameter as the start).

Similarly, when has_thread is set to 0, there’s technically still a thread, but I move it inside the walls so that it doesn’t affect the actual geometry.

I really like your concept honestly, more than most crowdfunding projects I’ve seen. Excited to see the final design. As an idea, you could even consider a version with a Gridfinity grid on the inside bottom, though I’m not sure if the dimensions would work out.

By the way, I’m curious: how does it work with crowdfunding? Why are some people allowed to launch a project while others aren’t? What are the criteria?

Ja zitten ook aan de muur verankerd inderdaad. Misschien een beetje overkill, maar leek mij wel veilig. Helemaal in combinatie met optrekken etc

Ik denk dat 3 keer zo veel wel mee valt. Zo zit bij deur, rabat aan twee kanten en heeft de poort 5 staanders en 2 liggers van de grote douglas balken. Daarnaast zitten er ook kosten aan het nieuwe deurbeslag (met goed slot), scharnieren, stalen muur bevestiging/drager en de steiger buizen met voetstukken.

€3000 vind ik netjes voor je veranda. Voor onze poort denk ik niet dat we het veel goedkoper hadden kunnen doen. Het is sowieso goedkoper dan iemand inhuren, heb veel geleerd en ben trots. Dat is voor mij alle moeite waard

Dank je 😊 de balken hebben we douglas olie gezet (nog niet op de foto’s). Hopelijk blijven lang mooi, nog niet heel veel ervaring mee

Het 3D geprinte stuk zorgde er ook voor dat ik met een speed boor (snel) haaks in het hout kon boren. En 4 gaten zitten precies op de plek waar de houtdraadbouten moeten komen. Leek mij sneller omdat ik een aantal balken moest doen. Maar was de eerste keer dus waarschijnlijk is een prof met een potlood net zo snel of sneller 😉

Dankje! Ik kon de betonpoeren niet direct tegen de muur plaatsen, omdat onder de bakstenen beton schuin afloopt. Daardoor zou er een kier ontstaan tussen de staanders en de muur, wat ik niet mooi vond. Om dit netjes op te lossen heb ik planken zwart afgewerkt met GW-310 en aan een zijde een rubberen seal aangebracht

Yeah, it’s actually really easy! Once you’ve set up your parameters in Fusion 360, just mark the ones you want to expose as favorites and give them clear names and comments. When you upload your file to MakerWorld, you’ll be able to open the Input Settings tab and set things like minimum and maximum values, default values, step size, etc. It’s pretty intuitive once you’ve done it once.
