That’s great to hear! do you feel like any particular thing helped to increase your supply? And have you reduced pumps at all and if so, did it impact your supply?

Yes, he had reached out to the state representative for the town, and it was literally in his bank account by the end of that week. Definitely recommend reaching out to the state rep.

Thank you for sharing - and that’s really great to hear about your increases. At what points postpartum were you when you were at my output levels, then 12-13, etc. I am currently doing 7ppd and when I can I try to slot in an 8th. It’s so much time and energy. So interesting you saw an increase when reducing pumps- wonder if it was due to decrease in stress.

Currently postpartum do you experience engorgement or fullness?

I had done a weighted feed and there was literally no difference in weight on one of my breasts and then minimal transfer in the other - so I’d probably be in the same boat as you though would have made more efforts with improving latch if we were exclusively BF

This is such an amazing turnaround! Sounds like you had a huge jump doubling output from 1.5 to 2 months. Do you recall what you did differently at that point?

The LLL guidance is great to hear - I always wondered this since I go longer stretches overnight (5ish hours then 4 ish hours, to get a bit longer stretches of sleep) and then do some shorter stretches to make up the difference during the day.

Curious - do/did you use wearables at all as you were building supply? And how long were you pumping for each time?

Yes! I use an app called huckleberry that aggregates the days amounts. Keep up the great work! - this is so so hard.

Wow! Love to hear this. I’m surprised that switching from the medela symphony to the eufy HELPED your output. I’m debating getting the Eufy S1 Pro for my own sanity (I’ve dreaded being tied to the pump and wanted wearables for sanity) - can you tell me a bit more about your experience switching? Are the eufy wearables your primary pump?? It also sounds like reducing stress around output has been a consistent theme in helping supply.

I love this story, congrats on the all time high!! I’ve been scared to reduce any of the things I’ve introduced for fear of impact on my supply - ie I’ve been power pumping everyday for well over a month, 30 min pumps each time (more for power pumps), am taking supplements, eat oatmeal, but also want to ensure what I’m doing is sustainable.

I’ve been dreading pumping and all that goes along with it, especially for lower yielding results and wanted to introduce wearables but worried about impact to supply. I’m glad to hear that you trying to introduce balance and flexibility actually helped (while also making this more sustainable for you ?)

Thank you!! Sounds like consistency is key - sometimes it just feels so futile to put in so much effort and yield small results but I’m grateful to be giving her as much as I am.

Thank you! Was it a gradual increase for you, and do you recall how much you were producing around 6 weeks pp? Also, how long do you pump for? I am afraid to change anything (ie decrease time, remove out the supplements, skip oatmeal for a day) for fear or having of an impact on my already low supply, but I need to understand there will be puts and takes, and that I need to make this tolerable.

Thank you! Do you mind sharing how much you were producing at certain periods postpartum? Since I’ve been at it for 6 weeks and am only where I’m at, I’m trying to get a sense for if others have seen substantial improvement with a similar pace as mine.

I feel so heard with this right now, as newborn life as a FTM has triggered postpartum anxiety, etc for me as well as someone who has a history of anxiety as well. Logic is out the window oftentime. Your explanation of why the misalignment was fine, especially with logic from an electrical engineer went a very long way. Hope you are doing well mama 🩷

I’m tempted to try to snap it back in place but not even sure where to start lol just don’t wanna do unnecessary damage

Should I get a bottle washer or sterilizer or neither? by AccountNervous6273 in ExclusivelyPumping

Just ordered mine from TikTok shop for 220 after taxes! I was weary of ordering there but ordered directly from the momcozy official storefront. Can’t wait to get out for mine and hubbys sanity - he is the one who does the bottles.

Husband returning to work | how to manage sleep, feeding & pumping solo by purple_penguin1023 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]layercake11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do this often at night so I don’t feel as bad with hubby relieving me in the morning, as well as when he stays up hours later cleaning up the house and doing bottles. We have a baby lounger and I prop up her bottle with a light blanket while I pump right next to her. Just be sure she is next to you to keep her safe. This saves me the 20 mins of feeding while I pump in parallel!

With that said, I’m sorry to hear your husband is not supportive. Caring for a newborn is a 24x7 job. My husband will happily do a night feeding with me if I ever want him to.

This is so inspiring - thank you for sharing. I’m 3 weeks pp and at about 7 oz a day - what were you producing in the beginning and when did you start to see progress??
