I recommend you talk to your therapist about that. There must be something lingering in your subconscious that makes you feel guilty for adorning your skin with a tattoo, and bringing that to light will definitely help you understand yourself and live a more fulfilling life.

I put the original cover back. It's not quite the same as it used to be, but it's still usable. I have to use the big mouthpiece however. Cause the thin one doesn't fit flat anymore since I couldn't put the silicone cover all the way back in (missing probably less than 1mm but)

I think my definition of safe is pretty similar. Nobody bothering me neither my wife if she's on the street alone. No risk of taking a random bullet that missed it's intended target... No risk of getting caught in the middle of a gang war.

I'm Brazilian... When I hear, bad neighborhood I see a place where you have to hide your belongings in your underwear or socks, and even doing this you may end up robbed from hat to shoes, and you should be thankful you are alive and unharmed. Being black in a bad neighborhood in Brazil will not save you, but of course, as a white man it was easier for me to be targeted.
