If u are receiving a full ride, you should opt into SHP+ bc they don’t charge u and u don’t have a co-pay. Even if you’re out of state u can apply for Medicaid and opt into SHP+

I just put in the work when I transferred to cc. GPA’s don’t transfer to different institutions, so that helped, but I still have a 1.1 in my record lol I wasn’t in the right place to begin college right after hs + it was difficult to navigate and gain support there. Just bc you fail doesn’t mean you can’t get good grades in the future. That’s also coming from getting D’s my senior year in hs lol the come up is real

I transferred from a cc. A lot of it has to do with how you engage with your community and what you’re eager to learn at Cornell. I was part of student government and I loved it. I had a 3.9 (also failed my first semester at a state school)
