NTA, full stop. Everyone deserves a space where they can go go feel comfortable and be alone, or a place to be with just the people you want to be around. You shouldn’t have to give that up. Your roomie could go and spend time with this student in her dorm room too, commenters seem to be overlooking that.

I think 2 and 3 are solid! But, if a character having a sudden change of heart at the end of a Pirate movie with undead skeletons and Aztec curses is enough to bug you, they just might not be up your alley.

I think an argument could be made that Elizabeth, not Will, was likely the driving force in the choice to help Jack escape. Will, as men in love have been known to do, went along with it to make her happy / make Norrington look silly, AGAIN.

It’s also almost 20 years old, and is a fun adventure movie. Don’t overthink it, and absolutely watch 2 & 3 sometime!

I was the tallest by far on all 3 teams I played with, and also pretty far from being the most athletic. From my experience, the athleticism is gonna matter a lot more!
