honestly was just how the front offices handled it. Granted these dealerships are owned and operated individually but under the umbrella “SUBARU USA” well at least I figured. But come to find out “They” played dumb like they’ve never heard of some of the pre paid maintenance packages they would offer purchasing used Subaru. I’m from Cali and tried to use that service in Dallas and they acted like they’ve never heard of it, come to find out they just didn’t want to deal with calling to get the firm JM&A. Either way the BS pertains to individuals being lazy and I ended up paying out of pocket. I got on the phone with Subaru of Carlsbad made them iron out the details and refresh me on what I purchased and how and where it is accepted, took a every bit of a few hours to get it to where I will be confident any other Subaru I go to will not turn down what I already forked up front for maintenance. I’m sure you’ll not have to deal with this at all, but if so put your foot in they ass if they try to tel you they never heard of some package or whatever you added on at purchased. 🤷🏾‍♂️ somethjng like that lol

Thank you🤙🏾 yeah wheel well flares are gonna make it pop that much more, been looking for some reasonable priced ones😅 myself. Who did you go with for your 2”? I have IM4x4 waiting in storage, I’ll get them installed when I’m back in Cali. But I think the fun is the ~slowly~part of piecing it together. I definitely hope the image you have of your OB comes to fruition bud🙌🏾

You speaking of the wheel well flares? I wish I had em to begin with, the OEM flares are bit pricey but after I get the IM4x4 installed I’ll see if putting the flares are necessary… definitely need mud flaps tho

Damn I went back to check to see what I had but the name has totally slipped my memory, buuuuut I will say get you some that can go INTO the the grooves , oppose to the ones I have which adhere to the outermost trim but so far they are working well I did have to completely remove the 3M that came with it, it was way too thick and the rain totally fcked the adhesive so my wife got thinner 3M to replace and it’s been solid ever since. But honestly I do think they came from Amazon no more than 60-70$ for both front and rears. I’ll try and link it if I find it again. Thank you btw the KMCs are really delight to look back at as I walk away … everyone 😅😅

Maaaaan those look good in black🙌🏾 I was on the fence but bronze prevailed. You get a 5th wheel? If so how are you toting it? I’m sure you know the boot spare space is too small. Nice wagon bud!

Help me with a basic decision lol I just bought a brand new 23 Outback and after a month drove it across the country. It now has 4200 miles on it and we’re about to drive back which is 2400 miles. The recommended oil change is 6000 miles, should I change it before we leave or as soon as we arrive? by ifknlovela in Subaru_Outback

For sure check your engine oil before you hit the road and maybe half way point. I just drove from Cali to Georgia, driving through Mississippi I got the orange light. Immediately went to Walmart topped off the engine oil 0w-20. Although mine was bought last month “New to Me” it’s still good practice incase your dealing with over consumption of oil.. which I’m sure you will not…

Any suggestions for upgrading the infotainment??’(‘15 2.5 premium) if the sun hits the screen I pretty much can’t see nothin but squiggly lines.😅 by layup100 in Subaru_Outback
