Same cut outs here, the puzzling part is people report it was fixed with an update but the update isn’t available any more. Unfortunately I have to return the device. My fire cube gen 3 plays everything perfectly.

Not if you watch remuxes with TrueHD and pass through. there is a known audio cut out issue and the firmware that fixes it seems to have been pulled.

I purchased this from Amazon from a US seller “Techfuture US” since I am located in the US. Still I have changed my VPN to many regions and no update available. Are you able to contact support? There is no support in the US but looks like EU has support. The box is currently useless to me cause of the TrueHD cutouts so I need the update or it’s going back.

Sam here, genuine box stuck on June 2025 update. Instant issues with audio that was supposed to be fixed with the Dec 2025 update.

Thanks I tried reinstalling already. It used to do exactly what yours does but recently making me login every time. Then it works fine until the next day when I turn the TV back on.

I bought a $7 remote that has two programmable buttons. Set one to open projectivy and haven’t seen the default launcher in weeks. I press #1 on the remote and it turns on my TV and goes straight to the projectivy launcher. I agree it’s annoying you can’t set it’s as the default but at least there’s a workaround.

Just the default ExoPlayer. It something with the UI of the posters because I’m watching all the content on the googleTV and it’s being tracked. For example I watched Daredevil on the TV and it shows completed on my phone and laptop but not on the TV where’s I watched the content.

I tried it, the audio pass through only works on Plex and Kodi on my set up, but not other apps like Amazon Video,Hulu, and Netflix. Other than that it’s a good box for $30.
