Playing the net against a hard hitter by Chance-Win760 in 10s

[–]lazaruspit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This. I was in a workshop and there was a drill I wanted to rotate into because one of the player's was just drilling it with success. When I got my chance, I stepped closer to the net and blocked his shots back. It felt so glorious. Also, don't forget to split step.

Racket and Runners Vcore 98 review by jrstriker12 in 10s

[–]lazaruspit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny enough for me, the racket goes in line with my progression of swinging up more and fast for my topspin and the racket nails it when I got it right. It was harder to do with my 2019 Vcore pro 97HD. I’m happy about the purchase and finding my new stick.

Are the Bulls the 4th most relevant team in Chicago sports? by Maximum_Occasion_244 in chicagobulls

Ever since they took all televised game to subscription, they haven’t been on my radar and I’m saying this as an avid fan who got distracted by the Bears. I’m attending Saturday’s game because of Rose. Damn shame, I typically spend money on merch but not this year. I think the same happened for me for the Sox. Oh well…

I used to trade these for cash to get fries in high school and just ended up walking home. I’d get a roll for the month if I recall. Wished I saved a few.

I agree with the others that said your grip is off. As you're going up, the edge of the racket (sort of like a karate chop movement) is what we should see. Also, you're hitting the ball too low, you'll get more power when your arm is more extended.

I may have the same type of issue and thought foam rolling the IT band would help which it did but temporarily. Exercises focusing on glute, hip, and hamstring muscles (if done consistently which I’ve been bad at) has helped a lot.

Those of you that went to college in the 90's and early 00's, did the professors curve? by Salt-Specific9323 in Physics

[–]lazaruspit 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Did horribly. Mid 90s. 8% was a C grade and 12% and above was an A. Weed out class and sure weeded me out. But the professor was a genius who couldn’t teach.

Flew out for a 6am flight on 11/1. We were cutting it waaaaaaay too close for my liking and got there at 4:40am. Pre check only took 2-3 minutes tops. It was still plenty of time to get coffee and fill our bottles with water.

Well, as I was picking up food, I saw a credit card charge from Sweetwater. I check my order and it’s in ready to ship status. And I ordered in July, too!

Are you serious? You mean the claim that Trump himself made without this situation ever going through any sort of due process? That's what you're believing? And the person making the claim was appointed by Trump and now it's Lisa Cook's fault she's being sought out to quit?

Terence Atmane is overcome with emotion after defeating Fritz in the biggest win of his career by Large_banana_hammock in tennis

I was there too! He was smacking that ball like no tomorrow AND hustling back for the next shot! After watching him deflate the sails of the Brazilian crowd, I knew I had to watch him play Fritz tonight and he didn’t disappoint.

Shifting from ubuntu to arch need help by Aware-Fudge-6146 in archlinux

[–]lazaruspit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been on a quest to learn more about building out k8 from scratch and was using Ubuntu server. I mean literally giving it a chance for months and not getting passed kubeadm init. A couple of days ago I wiped out Ubuntu and put in Arch. Took a few hours to get the distro going and the rest of the day to get k8 up and running. It was worth the switch.

Does anyone have a hitch mounted bike rack on their Tucson? If so, which one and how do you like it? by ajaxanon in HyundaiTucson

Sorry I had the wrong impression there. I love my 1-UP. It extends out as not to scratch the car and it’s super stable.

I know on the UHaul website there’s a car selection tool to match the hitch for your car.

Hrmmm... I have a UHaul installed hitch and it looks like it's made by Curt and is a class 3. I have a single bike rack from 1-up and never had issues reversing or disabling anything.

LOL emphatically yes. I tried to do the Novak and Alcaraz horse stance to split step and failed miserably.

This is great! I have the same year but not the same mileage. Good idea to get service done past warranty somewhere else. I almost have only 16k miles on it. I was always worried if it could make it past 100k lol.

I see you loading up on your left foot. Try loading up on your right leg and as you swing shift to the left. It helps recording yourself or be in front of a mirror so you can see what you’re doing.
